QS World University Rankings (QS World University Rankings) is a university ranking published annually by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The QS system consists of three parts: global comprehensive ranking, discipline ranking (named the world's top universities in 51 different disciplines and 5 comprehensive departments) and 5 independent regional tables - namely Asia, Latin America, emerging Europe and Central Asia, Arabia and BRICS countries.
QS rankings were approved by the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) and are regarded as one of the three most read universities in the world, tied with the World University Academic Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. However, it has been criticized for being overly reliant on subjective metrics and reputation surveys that tend to fluctuate over time.
