Yesterday afternoon, the 3rd Dongguan Citizen Sports Games and the 2020 Dongguan Fashion Sports Festival Century City Service Cup·Air Volleyball Competition ended in the city gymnasium. After two days of competition, the Xiaoxiaojun team, the Ruima Clothing Team of Liaobu Town, and the Dongguan Yuanhang Volleyball Club ranked in the top three in the Jinbei group, and the top three in the Silverbei group were Humen Scenery Team, Dongguan Fifth Squadron, and the Beautiful Team.
This competition attracted 16 teams and nearly 240 contestants to participate. After the group stage and knockout round, a small army team composed of a group of young players met with the Ruima Clothing Team in Liaobu Town, which was a slightly older overall Liaobu Town, to compete in the finals of the Golden Cup Group. In the finals, the Ruima Clothing Team in Liaobu Town once took the lead in the first stage of the first game, but the Xiaoxiaojun team won the young. The guys quickly adjusted and won the first game 21:19. In the critical second game, the physical advantage of Xiaoxiaojun's team gradually emerged, and he won another game with a big advantage, and finally won the championship in the Golden Cup group with a big score of 2:0.
Zhang Jiahua, the leader of the Xiaoxiaojun team, said that he has participated in the volleyball sport for many years and has participated in hundreds of competitions of all sizes. The event is very professional. I hope Dongguan can continue to hold a gas volleyball competition next year and the team will continue to participate.
As a new mass sports event in recent years, air volleyball has great room for development in Dongguan. The holding of this event allows more citizens to understand the sport of air volleyball and feel the charm of this sport. Next, the Municipal Gas Volleyball Association will continue to promote the popularization of gas volleyball, strive to hold the Dongguan Gas Volleyball League, and build a platform for display and communication for gas volleyball enthusiasts from all walks of life, so as to drive the development of the entire project.
