According to the report of " New York Post " on October 7, staff at a day care center in Hamilton, Mississippi wore a Halloween mask to intimidate children. The masked character comes from the American horror movie "Scream".
It is reported that Jennifer Keira Newman, a staff member of the daycare center, reported online: "The kids were frightened. I have complained about other things before, but they did nothing."

One of the videos shows a group of young children sitting at the table preparing for lunch when a woman wearing a screaming mask approaches them. These children are still in the toddler stage and are scared to tears when they see the horror mask.

Another video shows that a woman wearing a mask leans over a little boy's face and yells at him: "Are you bad? Do you want me to take you out!"

In multiple video clips, after scaring the child, the woman turned around and seemed to be laughing at the video shooter.

According to the " Daily Mail ", these videos are circulating on the Internet. The parents were furious when they saw it and demanded that the daycare center be closed. Some angry parents even threatened the woman with death.
Not long after, the woman involved posted a video of apology.
It is reported that the woman is only 20 years old and has worked in this daycare center since the age of 16. She said that this horror mask was originally bought to scare her colleagues. All the teachers in the daycare center know about her “scared” plan. But the boss didn't know.
She said that this is not about hurting anyone, nor is it about malicious scaring. “Other teachers asked me if I would do this or if they could use masks to make the kids obedient or clean up…I’m not a child abuser.”
She explained that the emotional reaction of the toddlers was because “they are children.”
The center is currently under investigation and the staff member has also been fired.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said they are working with county prosecutors to investigate and may file criminal charges.
