Taiwan Hai.com reported on December 30th, according to the Xiamen Evening News, Xiang'an New City ushered in two happy events: the Xiang'an Campus of Xiamen Experimental Primary School and the Junior High School of Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School held groundbreaking ceremonies and are planned to be put into use in 2021.
The construction of these two famous schools outside the island is an important part of our city’s “cross-island” strategy, an action to expand high-quality educational resources outside the island, and an embodiment of the integrated development strategy inside and outside the island.
According to reports, these two campuses are next to each other. The high school department of the Xiang'an Campus of Shuangshi Middle School, which is planned to start construction next year, is located at the east of Xiaocuo in Xiang'an District and north of Xiang'an Avenue. The school scale is 60 classes. The total land area of the high school department is about 74,890 square meters, and the total construction area is about 83,786 square meters (63,818 square meters above ground and 19,968 square meters underground). The main construction contents are teaching buildings, experimental buildings, canteens, dormitories for students and single teachers, basements and outdoor supporting projects.
With the start of construction and laying the foundation for the Xiang'an Campus of Xiamen Experimental Primary School and the Xiang'an Campus of Xiamen Shuangtou Middle School today, five famous schools on the island, including Xiamen Shuangtou Middle School, Xiamen No. 1 Middle School, Xiamen Foreign Language School, Xiamen Foreign Language School, Xiamen University Affiliated Science and Technology Middle School, and Xiamen Experimental Primary School, have all opened new campuses outside the island. Among them, this fall, the Haicang Campus of Xiamen No. 1 Middle School and the Xiang'an Campus of Science and Technology Middle School have been put into use first, and the foundation was officially laid on December 26.
Xiamen Experimental Primary School Xiang'an Campus
is located in Xiang'an New City, east of Shicuo and west of Pubian Village. The school scale is 48 primary schools.
total land area is 38,883 square meters, and the total construction area of the project is 35,785 square meters (17,850 square meters above ground and 17,935 square meters underground).
main construction contents include teaching experimental rooms, comprehensive library rooms, canteens, gymnasiums, underground public parking lots (as well as civil defense projects) and outdoor supporting projects.
Shuangshi Middle School Xiang'an Campus Junior High School
is located in Xiang'an New City, east of Shicuo and west of Pubian Village, with a school scale of 48 classes.
total land area is 47984 square meters and the total construction area is 47189 square meters (27382 square meters above ground and 19807 square meters underground).
main construction content is teaching building, experimental building, comprehensive building, sports complex hall, class classroom, canteen, single teacher dormitory, corridor, basement, outdoor track, basketball court, volleyball court, campus road, greening and other supporting projects.
