The tent roof rack supports 100 kg dynamic or 363 kg (220 lbs and 800 lbs) when parked, adding 20 (44 lbs) and 45 kg (100 lbs) respectively.
Inside, the Wilderness has waterproof soft-touch seats with geometric textures that hold you well on the off-road vehicle. Badges and copper trim make sure you know you're in it, while all-season mats prevent you from staining the mud, tree debris and sand on your carpet when you're outdoors. These changes do reduce fuel economy, adding 1.1 liters/100 km (now 8.3, 28 mpg), but it should still be far ahead of off-road vehicles like the Bronco Sport (8.9, 26 mpg, four-cylinder) and Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (9.7, 24 mpg).

Forester is only available in one engine, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder four-cylinder engine that produces 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. It's a smooth running engine that pushes the Forester well, although we're still tempted to see the extra charm of the Subaru 2.4-liter turbo here for a boost of fun quotient. This allows emergency automatic steering, blind spot detection and rear intersection alarms to be scattered around higher decorative levels. The heated seats are standard in full range and are warm enough on Touring and later that I thought I might burn my palms.
Subaru STARLINK Connected Service is Subaru's connected vehicle system (Convenience and later) that provides stolen vehicle recovery and fixation as well as concierge services as well as speed and curfew alerts. Remote climate control is now also part of the remote vehicle access feature list, including engine start/stop and door unlocking.
