Screen quality test
After studying OSD, I conducted a simple test with DisplayX to see how the panel quality of this IPS is.

Type-C direct connection + reverse charging
Youpai VX2462-2K-MHDU comes with a Type-C interface, which can transmit screen data through a Type-C cable, and can also achieve a power of 65W to reverse power to devices such as laptops that support C port charging. This not only reduces the use of cables, but also makes the desktop cleaner. I used my i5 7200U old XPS13-9360 for testing. As advertised, the screen can be transmitted through a direct connection on the front line, and the notebook shows that charging is being carried out at the same time.
However, I don’t know if it is because the model of the laptop I have on hand is too old. When using Type-C to connect the monitor, it can only achieve up to 2K 60Hz and cannot turn on the 75Hz option, which is a bit regrettable.
In addition, through the FNIRSI-FNB48 charger tester, the C port of the monitor can indeed output 65W of power with the PD2.0 fast charging protocol. The manufacturer has no false standards, and the charging speed measured with XPS13 is also quite fast.
Using experience
- . Youpai VX2462-2K-MHDU comes with two dual-channel 2W speakers, which are not very powerful, so the sound quality is it? . . It's not good, it can only be said to be better than not having a speaker.
- . For 2K resolution monitors, I personally feel that 24-25 inches is a relatively suitable size. Using 4K resolution on a 27-inch screen can achieve a very delicate display effect. If using 2K resolution, you can see some pixel fruit particles. . The official screen is not flashing and blue light filtering function, which is indeed useful after actual testing, and it is obvious that it will be much more comfortable at first glance. Also, when you use the Lenovo monitor in the office, your eyes will be so sore that you can't open it. Using this VX2462-2K-MHDU will only cause a little fatigue, and the comfort difference is extremely obvious.
For office workers, if there is no requirement for sound quality, it is still okay to use the included speaker to watch videos or something occasionally. If you have higher requirements such as listening to music and playing games, you obviously need to use it with a speaker/headphone.

Of course, there are some regrets. This monitor does not have a high refresh function of 120-144Hz, and the nominal brightness of 250 nits is actually not very friendly to HDR. It cannot be used as a gaming monitor to make full use of my 3090. And if you use the original stand, the base will also occupy a lot of desktop space.
