new trends in the design industry

In the exhibition, furniture brands insist on their own styles and present them in different styles. Whether it is for private homes, hotels or public spaces, they can find suitable matching solutions. We have classified this year's new products in style, "active creativity", "natural simplicity", "classic reproduction", "elegant style" and "beauty of functions" tell different stories respectively.

"Active Creative" highlights design creativity and storyline. "Natural Simplicity" praises natural materials and focuses on sustainability. "Classic Reappearance" is a continuation and tribute to classic design and ideas, giving it a new vitality. "Elegant style" includes high-quality furniture with exquisite craftsmanship and low-key shape. "The beauty of functions" is a combination of technology and functions, presenting a convenient lifestyle. Feel diverse design thinking through these products with different styles.

# Active Creation #

Moroso

Moroso's product style cannot be simply defined. The rich and active products symbolize the enthusiastic side of Italian design. In this cross-border cooperation, many designers injected vitality into Moroso's products in different basic forms. Front design, which is passionate about natural lines, has created the Pebble Rubble series with pebbles as inspiration. It has warm lines, like several pebbles of different sizes stacked together, and the organic shape introduces natural elements into the interior space.

Front design X Pebble Rubble series

Jonathan Olivares uses cubes to form a Square series sofa. With brightly colored Kvadrat fabric, the square outline looks like a cute character leaving in a retro pixel game.

Jonathan Olivares X Square Chair

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiolahml4 uses a detachable modular system. The structure is inspired by clothing. The components are easily disassembled and assembled with zippers. The soft-pack structure ensures comfort. A variety of bright colors activate the atmosphere of the space, and the stripes make the simple shape no longer monotonous.

Patricia Urquiola X Anorak series

Kartell

continues to innovate the research and development of environmentally friendly plastics. This year, Kartell joined hands with illy caffè to use the abandoned coffee capsule to make the Re-Chair chair designed by architect Antonio Citterio. The recycled illy Iperespresso coffee capsule empty shells are made into durable furniture by grinding and injection molding. The black version is currently launched as the first in the most future series of products. The debut of TEA lamps designed by

Ferruccio Laviani also brings new products in the lighting field, made of recycled thermoplastic high-tech polymers. TEA seems to be an object imprinted with the spirit of craftsmanship, and it seems that a lamp is held between their two palms. The porous natural finish emits irregular beams like pottery, bringing the effect of interlacing light and shadow.

From eclecticism in the 18th century to contemporary minimalist , it blends together in Philippe Starck's KHAN chandelier to create a new elegant and modern logo that complements Kartell's environmentally friendly new polycarbonate .0 technology.

Flou

Flou's products, modern lines are a clever combination of colors and fabrics, suitable for young and vibrant atmosphere. The newly launched Gaudi bed frame and lounge chair this year, borrowed from the name of architect Gaudi , can see smooth transitions in the support structure, the fabric is tightly wrapped around the wooden structure, revealing the polished structural details, and the splicing is rounded like a sculpture.

Fiocco sofa also continues the curved shape. The slender metal frame on the side of the sofa maintains the stability of the structure, which contrasts with the fluffy soft bag cushions, gathering like marshmallows.

Gentleman side cabinet series can be integrated into elegant interior spaces, with striped wood veneer, marble and leather outsourcing corresponding to tie, shirt and suit respectively. Like a gentleman sitting upright, wearing a suit and tie, style and sense of humor coexist.

Edra

Edra's products have colorful and exaggerated shapes, which are eye-catching. The brand emphasizes the story of the product and interprets warm intentions with gorgeous materials. In the exhibition hall at the furniture exhibition site, the mirror is combined with electronic screens, and the screen is made of bookshelf patterns to create a psychedelic atmosphere. The spotlights are on the work, and the darker lights create a dramatic feeling of the protagonist's appearance.

# Natural and simple #

Porro

Porro's shelf series is the most famous product of the brand, paying attention to details and quality. As a low-key supporting role, the shelf can also reflect the coordinated proportions of the product itself when displayed separately. Architect Piero Lissoni and the brand have jointly brought a series of furniture with the log base tone. The oval dining table is placed on the conical table legs, and the shape is simple and calm. The glass material of the shelf creates a natural and light look, allowing the product to be harmoniously matched with different styles of interior styles.

Marazzi

, focusing on ceramic sheets, brings the new ceramic tiles . The Top of the Puro Marazzi series' super large-sized boards can be presented with fewer seams, highlighting the overall beauty of the material's texture and pattern. The materials that have undergone special antibacterial treatment also conform to people's attention to hygiene during the epidemic. There are many pattern effects such as stone, concrete, marble, yellow cave stone, etc. Designers can use the entire board to different occasions - kitchen countertops, dining table or walls, showing more possibilities of ceramic tiles as decorative materials.

Lema

Founded in 1970, the style of Lema is rational and concise. The brand was recognized by the market in the early days for customizing modular shelves and walk-in wardrobes. In recent years, it has also launched many furniture products with structural aesthetics.

This year, the work of the In-Between round table by Chinese designer Li Ximi was officially released at the furniture exhibition. The designer uses a combination of marble, wood and metal, and matches a wooden turntable on the table. The three interspersed rectangular structures are supported by the table legs and are surrounded together to maintain balance. The calm tone highlights the structure's composition. The clever combination of different materials meets the brand's ultimate pursuit of structure and modular system.

Kreoo

Italian brand Kreoo, which is good at using marble materials to innovate, brings marble products combining wood and glass, bringing a light and natural wind to the exhibition hall. The Pavé series seats are designed by Italian furniture designer Enzo Berti, inspired by running water washing and polishing riverbed stones. The pebble-shaped marble base and wooden cushion partially overlap to have a natural beauty.

Berti also created the MAGIKA series of lamps, composed of conical marble lamp posts and bubble-like glass lampshades, with a variety of heights and color combinations to choose from. At the junction of conical stems and transparent spheres, light illuminates the veins of marble, like the clouds at dawn or sunset. The glass lampshade is blown by hand and contains tiny bubbles, giving it an organic texture.

Visionnaire

Parade chandelier uses the shape of the tongue, and the curved glass is arranged in line, evoking the audience's sensory experience.

Turri

Brand designer Matteo Nunziati

Luxury and high-quality furniture shows Turri's confidence in Italian manufacturing and also demonstrates the contemporary craftsman spirit . Matteo Nunziati's Domus series designed for the brand outlines an elegant atmosphere. Domus in ancient Rome meant an upper class mansion, and also meant that the atmospheric Domus sofas could be placed in a spacious space. The texture of the fabric was highlighted by simple shapes, and the earth tone allowed the sofa to be blanked and integrated into the wide space.

Studio Pepe X dharma

LAZYBONES Armchair
