A few days ago, under the supervision of Dalian Harbor Customs, the 308,000-ton tanker "Xinyidu" built by Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., was officially delivered and set sail. This is the 100th giant crude oil tanker built by ship group in 30 years.
Unlike previous giant tankers, there are four carbon fiber sail leaves with a strong sense of technology on the hull of the "New Idun". From a distance, it looks like two pairs of white "wings" were inserted into the giant ship.
"This ship started construction in 2020 and is equipped with the second generation sail device independently developed by my country. It has the characteristics of intelligent, lightweight, high strength and high resistance to marine environment, making the ship a model of a new generation of energy-saving and consumption-reducing ship type. This is also the second 300,000-ton crude oil tanker we have delivered this year. Currently, we have two ships in the order for a giant crude oil tanker, which is expected to be delivered in 2023." Yu Chengjiao, deputy director of the Materials Department of Da Ship Group Co., Ltd., introduced.
Since the ship manufacturing business is mainly carried out in the form of processing trade, Dalian Harbor Customs conducts dynamic tracking of the performance of products and contracts in view of the characteristics of VLCC project processing manuals, long production cycles, and many registered materials, to grasp the operation status of enterprises in real time, reasonably optimize the disposal process in manual changes and material transfer, innovate the "bonded lubricant" supervision model, further improve ship construction efficiency and save enterprise costs.
Since 2022, Dalian Harbor Customs has strictly implemented the requirements of General Administration of Customs to promote foreign trade stability and quality improvement and the specific measures issued by Dalian Customs, vigorously promote the "ship side lift" business of imported marine accessories, and provide all-weather appointment inspection, inspection during unloading, inspection during equipment installation and other trend supervision, greatly shortening the customs clearance time for ship companies. In March this year, a batch of marine diesel generator sets weighing 125.6 tons used by the "Xinyidun" arrived at the Dashima Group's operating terminal. Thanks to the "direct lifting on the side of the ship", the company has eliminated the multiple lifting, storage and transfer environments. This batch of goods can be put into use after arriving at the port. Not only has the pick-up time been shortened by about one week compared to the past, but it also significantly reduced various costs.
Wang Hong, head of the logistics monitoring section of Dalian Harbor Customs, said, "In September this year, as the delivery date approaches, Dalian once again encountered the double intrusion of the local epidemic and the typhoon "Plum Blossom". The company is worried about whether it can deliver the ship on time. In order to solve the urgent needs of the company, we promptly understand the difficulties of the company, assign special personnel to be on duty, implement health quarantine on the crew as planned, and quickly review and release the materials for ship supply, so as to ensure that during the silent period, relevant customs business will be continuously and order will not be disordered."
Since this year, Dalian Harbor Customs has supervised the export of 8 large ships of various types of ships with a cargo value of 10.11 billion yuan. (Wang Hui Li Yang)
