The conflict during this salary increase was relatively obvious: the laborer requested a 11% increase in one breath during the preliminary negotiation process, and advocated that the investor improve the working environment and welfare benefits of the workplace; but the investor bluntly stated that due to the impact of the new crown epidemic and instability of the international supply chain, its operation and capital turnover are also difficult, and it is impossible to increase the basic salary by 11%. In this way, it is necessary to close the door directly and don’t even think about making money. At most, the laborer will only raise 3% to show sincerity. After long-term negotiations, the two sides finally decided that the increase would fall to about 4.5 percentage points and reached a consensus. But due to the impact of inflation , the labor force still believes that a 4.5% increase will not make their lives better.
