Zhaotong Yudong Reservoir is located on the Jule River, a secondary tributary of the Jinsha River Basin. The downstream is called the Sayu River. It flows through the Hengjiang River and merges into the Jinsha River. It is 23 kilometers away from Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City. It is a comprehensive utilization reservoir mainly for irrigation. Large (two) large water conservancy projects. The reservoir has a total storage capacity of 355 million cubic meters and a dam height of 87 meters. The water is like jade and the scenery is picturesque all year round, even in autumn and winter.
The reservoir has a vast lake surface and the water is as green as emerald. The lake is surrounded by grass and forests, and birds are chirping. In autumn and winter, some of the grass and trees on the mountain begin to wither and turn yellow, and there are also red and green maple leaves. The colors of the lakes and mountains change with the season and weather, making them graceful. Occasionally, a small boat sails across the lake, stirring up layers of waves and breaking the tranquility of the lake. The green lake surface breaks into pieces like emeralds being broken. Walking on the mountain path by the lake, I can't help but think of the poem: "The boat is sailing on the blue waves, and the people are swimming in the painting."
More than 1,000 sycamore trees were planted when the Yudong Reservoir was built. They meandered 4,000 meters from the bottom of the dam to the top of the dam along the winding mountain road, forming a unique "Wutong Avenue". The plane trees on both sides of the avenue are thick and tall, with luxuriant branches and leaves. "The phoenix is singing on the high hill; the phoenix tree is growing on the rising sun." The phoenix tree symbolizes auspiciousness and noble character. At the turn of autumn and winter, Wutong Avenue is colorful and quiet. The breeze blows and the crotched yellow leaves float leisurely like a kite with broken strings. The relaxed and happy tourists stepped on the rustling fallen leaves, excitedly held up their mobile phones, kept pressing the shutter, and played with all kinds of charms crazily. Inadvertently, a cloud came from the other side of the mountain, sprinkled a light rain, and knocked down a few leaves. A girl with delicate thoughts walked up the deep path, carefully picked up a fallen leaf from the ground, looked at it carefully for a moment, and then fell into silence. Quiet contemplation. This feeling and scene can't help but make people feel poetic, and I really want to recite loudly "The fallen leaves in the rain know the cold and warmth, and the girl on the road feels pity."
The river is gurgling under the reservoir dam, willows are dancing on both sides of the river, and cherry blossom trees are lined up. At the turn of autumn and winter, willows gradually turn yellow, and the silky wickers hang listlessly on the water, letting the cold wind push them around. Occasionally, a few small fish or ducks swim by. The willow tree sways its hair-like branches excitedly, shakes off a few willow feathers enthusiastically, and then jumps into the river and swims towards the visitors.
The cherry blossom trees on both sides of the tour road have lost their flowers and become sentimental at this time. As the wind blows, the colorful dead leaves are scattered in the wind, like butterflies flying, like petals falling, giving people a sense of excitement. , arousing a touch of melancholy...
The heart is like sunshine, and there is beautiful scenery everywhere. The Yudong Reservoir in autumn and winter has a deep, sophisticated and colorful beauty. When people walk there, it is as beautiful as a fairy tale. It is a good place to take pictures and relax.
