Wu Zuoti, who served as spokesperson for the Presidential Office and Director-General of the Ministry of State Counseling during the Democratic League of China, suffered a sudden heart attack at 9 a.m. on May 23 and died in the People's Hospital of Naypyidaw. On the afternoon of May 24, Wu Zuoti's funeral was held at the Naypyidaw Kiln Cemetery.
It is understood that at noon on May 24, Wu Zuoti's relatives and friends, who were the same class as Wu Zuoti, graduated from the National Defense Military Administration University and the current spokesperson of the State Administration Committee, arrived at the scene. At the same time, some military officers and some police officers also arrived at the scene.
It is reported that Wu Zuotien was 49 years old and transferred to a government department after retiring as a major. He is a graduate of the 37th National Defense Officer University and is a student of the same class as Major General Zuo Mintun, spokesperson of the State Administration Commission.
Previously, a person familiar with the matter said that since February 1, 2021, Wu Zuotii has drunk a lot of alcohol, coffee and smoked. He lived alone in his residence in Naypyidaw. He was found to have a heart attack at dawn on May 23. Although he was rushed to the 1,000-bed People's Hospital in Naypyidaw, he unfortunately died at around 9 a.m., so he probably suffered too much pressure.
