Beijing time on January 26, NBA regular season , the Lakers played against the Spurs. In this game, thick eyebrow brother returned from injury, Hachimura also made his debut. Facing the Spurs, the underdog in the Western Conference, this game is definitely a must-win for the Lakers, hoping to win a victory.
But the Spurs were not a vegetarian. They were still ahead of the Lakers in the first quarter. Although the Lakers also started counterattack mode afterwards, as both sides chased each other, the Lakers did not have an absolute advantage. It was not until the last quarter that the Lakers took advantage and finally defeated the Spurs 113-104.
If the Spurs' goal was not to fail, perhaps the Spurs would not be so lethargic in the fourth quarter of this game. It has to be said that this game was definitely a narrow victory. Although it gave the opponent a three-game losing streak, the overall feeling is that James did not do his best, and the power of Brother Big Eyebrow's comeback was not great.
It is worth mentioning that Brother Big Eyebrow returned from injury in this game and scored 21 points and 12 rebounds. James scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. They were all satisfactory performances. The newly joined Rui Hachimura scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The performance was pretty good, in line with the Lakers' expectations.
In addition, Westbrook 14 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists, Beverley scored 18 points, and 5 people on the team scored in double figures. If the Lakers only have such strength, they can only bully the poor Spurs, then it is almost impossible for them to compete for the championship this season.
Of course, it also depends on the first game of Big Eyebrow's return from injury, and Hachimura's performance is also in line with expectations. The Lakers still have a future. Judging from the current situation, the competition in the Western Conference is fierce. Although the Lakers are lagging behind, they are not completely hopeless and are still worth looking forward to. After all, they are a wealthy team.
