The 4th China International Tea Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Tea Expo") was held in Hangzhou from May 21st to 25th, with an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters and 3,423 standard booths, an increase of 10% over the previous session. Among them, there are 1,700 commercial exhibition booths, fully displaying the charm of Chinese tea and the current development results of the tea industry.

The unique ecological and natural environment has given birth to the unique quality of "Liancheng Wufeng" which is mined early and has good internal quality. In 1992, "Liancheng Wufeng", West Lake Longjing and Yuhangjing Camellia simultaneously won the bronze medal at the first China Agricultural Expo. In 2014, it won the national ecological origin protection product certification and other honors.

After this year’s Lantern Festival, Liandu District and the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly organized the “First Cup of Spring Tea in 2021” event, local brands such as “Liancheng Wufeng” have emerged in the international market and attracted widespread attention from all walks of life.
Good quality drives the tea trade in Liandu. In 2020, Liandu District's tea output was 2,366 tons, with an output value of 4.253 billion yuan (RMB, the same below). More than 50,000 acres of ecological tea gardens among clear waters and green mountains have become a "cash cow" for local farmers.
Planting a leaf makes the people rich. The development of Liandu tea industry is the epitome of Zhejiang tea industry.
"In 2020, the tea garden area, tea output, and output value of Zhejiang Province reached 205,000 hectares , 191,000 tons, and 23.86 billion yuan respectively, setting a record high and ranking among the top in China."
