The township office said that about 1,000 people visit Duoliang Station on weekdays, and more than 2,000 people visit on holidays. The station space is small, the viewing platform is less than 15 square meters (about 49.6 square meters), and it is impossible to maintain a 1-meter social distance outdoors. The risk of infection in groups is high, and confirmed cases have been reported in tribes above the station.
In addition, tourists come from all over the country and it is difficult to grasp relevant information. After discussion and evaluation at a meeting, it was decided to suspend the opening of the station to the public, including the shopping street vendors in the station, from May 26 to June 1. Whether we can reopen as scheduled after June 1 will depend on the development of the epidemic.
