Tainan Municipal Bureau of Engineering held a "Building Public Safety Promotion Conference" at the Tainan Life Aesthetics Museum today. In addition to strengthening the awareness of disaster prevention in promoting the use and management of buildings, the meeting announced that from January next year, the newly added 8-15th floor apartment buildings in Tainan should be included in the public safety inspection application targets.

The building public safety publicity meeting targets about 100 people participating in the target of business premises, apartment building management committee, professional inspectors and relevant personnel of the competent authority.

Currently, residential buildings with more than 16 floors in Tainan City must apply for public safety inspections. From January next year, 8 to 15-storey residential (H2) buildings will be gradually included in public safety inspections.
