He once published a small book, writing about how to maintain health in his life, hoping that it can spread it and benefit others. He has three sons, three daughters, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

In 2010, at the invitation of President Chen Fupo, I followed the group to visit the Longquan Mansion site in Shangjing, Bohai Kingdom in the Tang Dynasty. I saw with my own eyes what a round sky is, the boundless sky and the boundless plain. I caught a glimpse of the tall and magnificent President Chen standing alone in the corner of a broken wall for about 2 minutes. Later, I asked him curiously: "What are you doing?" He said: "When I was six or seven years old, I was playing on this earth with my companions. When I was anxious, I stood by this wall and peed. I didn't expect that today 80 years later, I could still stand in this corner and pee! How happy!" I saw his eyes red. I finally understood why he said "had left home until now" and "wandered to Taiwan".
