At around 3:37 pm on December 11, the reporter learned from the person involved Ms. Liu that she had just received a call from relevant personnel from Peking University, saying that the whistleblower, PhD supervisor and assistant professor Feng Renjie, had been dismissed by Peking University, and the school canceled her qualification as a graduate supervisor, and will announce it in the near future.
Three minutes later, the official Weibo of Peking University announced the news that Feng Renjie was dismissed due to serious violation of his teacher ethics and conduct.

On the morning of December 2, a netizen said on Weibo, "I intervened in undergraduates, cheated on married women, and Peking University doctoral supervisor cheated on dozens of people at the same time!" The netizen published several chat screenshots saying that during her date, Feng Moujie (Feng Renjie) also "dated with dozens of women" under the banner of getting married as soon as possible and had sex with them.
Ms. Liu announced a marriage certificate, saying that Feng Moujie (born in January 1983) registered to marry a woman surnamed Tang (born in April 1996) on May 4, 2016, and later divorced.

The official website of Peking University shows that Feng Moujie served as an assistant professor and doctoral supervisor at the Beijing International Mathematics Research Center of Peking University in 2015. His main research areas are random matrices and random geometry, and he has published papers in important international academic journals many times. According to the official website of Beijing International Mathematics Research Center (BICMR), the center is committed to promoting cutting-edge mathematical research and education and enhancing scientific exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign mathematicians.
On November 7, 2019, Peking University News Network reported that a paper jointly conducted by Feng Moujie, postdoctoral fellow Wei Dongyi and Academician Tian Gang was accepted and published online by Geometric and Functional Analysis (GAFA), the world's top mathematics journal.
On the afternoon of December 3, the whistleblower Ms. Liu told reporters that before publishing the reporting materials to the Internet, she had reported the matter to Peking University by email, and Peking University contacted her on November 26.
