VentureBeat: What is your "post-Arm" strategy? After the Arm acquisition deal fails, is it necessary to convey your new strategy?
Huang Renxun: is nothing. Since we have never completed the combination with Arm, we have not actually discussed any strategy to combine with Arm before. So our strategy is exactly the same as before.
We provide accelerated computing for anywhere there is a CPU. Whether it's x86 or Arm, we do this. We have a large number of ARM CPUs and system-on-chip (SoCs) in development. We love doing these. We have a 20-year Arm Intellectual Property License and will continue to leverage all of these and all markets.

Huang Renxun: We are now using RISC-V in multiple fields. We are one of the RISC-V users in GPU. For example, the system controller has an acceleration engine based on RISC-V inside the Bluefield GPU.
We use RISC-V when it makes sense, we use Arm when it makes sense, and of course we also use x86 when it makes sense, everything depends on the meaning.

VB: How do you view the progress of the virtual world? It seems that everyone is more excited about the metaverse, and Omniverse is always inseparable from the metaverse.
Huang Renxun: Omniverse Enterprise Edition is being tested and tested in about 700 different companies around the world.
We have signed some licenses and our digital world has a good start. People can use it to connect designers and creators, simulate logistics warehouses, simulate factories, generate synthetic data, and also simulate training AI data collected by LiDAR, radar, and cameras. It can also be used on digital twins.
So Omniverse uses it for the simulated part of the software development process. As part of the release process, users need to verify the software. Omniverse can be placed in the robot application verification process.

Huang Renxun: I really hope that the metaverse is open, and I think the metaverse will show this in a general scene description (USD). We are one of the biggest contributors to USD at present. USD has been used by many different content developers, such as Adobe.
I hope everyone will use USD to make it HTML in the metaverse.
VB: How confident are you in the automotive department? How is Nvidia's progress in autonomous driving? Do you think we can get back on track after the epidemic is over?
Huang Renxun: We will have autonomous driving cars all over the world. These cars have their own operating areas. For example, driving in a very large warehouse, these cars are called AMR, which is autonomous mobile robots. Such cars can be thrown into walled factories to allow them to ship goods and stock.
