Guo Chenhui is the owner of this homestay, born in the 1980s. Before returning home to start a business, he lived a nine-to-five life like most working people. He worked with his lover in a Beijing company, one was responsible for game design and the other was a game animation artist. They laughed and said that it was a relationship created by playing games and life was dull and happy.
In 2015, the birth of the child broke the original calm.
"After having a child, I suddenly found that the child did not wake up when he went out in the morning, and the child was asleep when he went home at night." This kind of life made Guo Chenhui and her husband feel that they were in debt to the child. So the two of them decided to sell their real estate in Beijing and took their families back to Guo Chenhui's hometown, , Ulanqab City, , Chayouhou Banner. At the beginning, Guo Chenhui only sold local agricultural products - potatoes, beef jerky, sesame oil, and dairy products on Taobao . In 2015, under the leadership of the government, she established an e-commerce company, established offline and online sales platforms, and opened up the road to broaden product sales channels for farmers and herdsmen, increase agricultural and livestock product income, and promote targeted poverty alleviation.
"The company's sales in Tmall and Taobao reached more than 5 million yuan last year, helping farmers and poor households sell more than 400 tons of potatoes, achieving both the company and farmers' benefits." Guo Chenhui said.
As agricultural products are selling better and better, their popularity is getting bigger and bigger. Some customers from other places suggest that they want to come to the local area to experience life in the rural and pastoral areas. It just so happened that Guo Chenhui's hometown Qiqingdi Village is very close to Ulanhada Volcano Group , so she came up with the idea of opening a volcano-themed B&B.

Both the flag and the town support Guo Chenhui's idea. With the help of Wang Qiang, deputy bannerman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, who was appointed in Chayouhouqi, a company supported Guo Chenhui with 100,000 yuan in entrepreneurship funds. The town also subsidized 200,000 yuan of collective funds, and the dividends were returned to the poor households by the end of the year.

In June this year, the volcano theme homestay was officially opened. Since its opening, the homestays have been filled almost every day. Guo Chenhui signed an order with the poor households in the village, and eggs, beef, mutton, vegetables, and dairy products were purchased at higher prices, which not only ensured the supply of food ingredients in a homestay, but also directly led to the increase in income of poor households.
Song Jing, a self-driving tourist from Beijing, was very satisfied with the volcano-themed B&B. She said that she had always wanted to take her children to see the volcano. She met this homestay on the road, and the design and furnishings were all the moods she liked. The food is also very fresh, and it feels like returning to the countryside.
Wang Qiang, deputy banner leader of Chayouhou Banner, believes that most of the village collective economic leaders are currently engaged in agriculture, and the rural tertiary industry is still a shortcoming. B&B and e-commerce platforms are new ways to help poverty alleviation through consumption. Once the demonstration role is played well, it can attract more young people to return to their hometowns to start businesses.

For the future, Guo Chenhui said that she wanted to use practice to drive the surrounding villagers and build Qiqingdi Village into a volcanic homestay village, so that more villagers can live a good life.
