Previously, the digital channel has released a disassembly of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, and the S21+'s internal structure is basically the same as them, but it is easier to repair than the S21 Ultra.
From the front, compared with the glass back of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the plastic back of the Galaxy S21+ is easier to be pried open and the chance of damage is smaller. Like the other two models, most of the stuff is modular, which makes them easy to replace, at least after they are removed. Fortunately, the Galaxy S21+ inherits the Galaxy S21's display flexible cable, which is not soldered to the daughter board.
Unfortunately, this phone uses the Galaxy S21 Ultra's strong glue battery, making it harder to disassemble and more risky. The volume key cord is also stuck to the display screen, and it cannot be replaced without separating the screen from the middle frame. The Galaxy S21+ also has some unique designs of its own, such as an additional microphone that transfers audio from the back to the surroundings. It also lacks the top speaker's foam balls, smaller and cheaper models exploit something to amplify the sound. There is also no mmWave 5G antenna here, but it depends mainly on the specific model.
In short, the maintenance of Galaxy S21+ is quite difficult, especially those basic components.
