On October 11, 2019, a PLA crew had an accident while performing a flight training mission, and the plane malfunctioned. During the landing, for the safety of the villagers, it did not choose to land on the mountain. Unfortunately, it collided with the cliff and the plane crashed. The three soldiers on board, Wen Weibin, Gong Dachuan and Luo Wei, sacrificed their young and precious lives.

Wen Weibin, male, from Taojiang, Hunan, born in October 1982, a member of the Communist Party of China, a pilot of a certain unit of the People's Liberation Army, and a second-level aerial mechanic.

According to "Xinye Radio and Television", at 3:30 pm on October 22, on both sides of Seoul Road, Xinye County, Nanyang, Henan, tens of thousands of people spontaneously arranged neatly, carrying small white flowers in their chests or holding flowers in their hands, and seeing the soul of the blue sky pride Gong Dachuan return to his hometown with tears.

Martyr Wen Weibin worked hard since childhood, studied hard, had excellent grades, and was determined to join the army to serve the motherland. After joining the army, he loved his job, studied hard, studied technology, and was willing to contribute. He grew from an ordinary soldier to a deputy regiment aerial mechanic and instructor. He was awarded the third-class merit twice, participated in the 2015 military parade to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and won the advanced individual.
On the morning of October 24, the Martyrs Cemetery in Lu County, Luzhou City was solemn and dignified, with sorrow and joy coming back. The burial ceremony of Martyr Luo Wei's ashes was held here. In the morning, many people came to pick up the heroes home.
