The birth process of the mysterious Chinese troops
On May 26, 1956, at a meeting chaired by Zhou Enlai, it was decided to establish the Missile Administration of the Ministry of Defense and the Missile Research Institute. In order to make the scientific research experiment progress smoothly, China sent representatives to Moscow for negotiations. At first, Khrushchev was not willing to lend a helping hand, but the international situation continued to intensify, and the competition between the Soviet Union and the United States became increasingly fierce. Crisis moment: The first actual combat
In September 1959, the officers and soldiers of the Second Battalion of the 543rd Unit entered a first-level preparation state in the suburbs of Beijing. In order to ensure the air safety of the National Day, during the National Day, our country's airspace did not sound. Instead, on October 7, a certain radar in Fujian in our army showed that an RB-57D high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft entered the mainland in Wenling, Zhejiang. Although our army issued a timely warning, the other party completely ignored our words with its own fuselage advantage.
Under such an urgent situation, our country can only allow the 543 troops to fight directly. When it was still 480 kilometers away from Beijing, the second battalion commander Yue Zhenhua immediately issued an order, three-point method, three missiles, six seconds apart, and eliminate the target at 28 kilometers. The well-trained troops directly hit the enemy plane and successfully shot down a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft over Beijing, second only to the U-2, and also set a precedent for surface-to-air missiles to shoot down reconnaissance aircraft. But the United States has not given up yet. The United States has trained a large number of pilots and established the " Black Cat Squadron ". It also sent a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft formed by the U-2, carrying a large number of advanced equipment, and quietly entered our airspace. This time it seriously threatened our country's military activities, but the U-2 looks black and its body is very light. It can be hidden perfectly in the air and is not discovered by the other party. It can be said that it is professional in collecting information from other countries. As long as it is sent to travel, it can fly back without any damage, and it has also made many military achievements for the United States at that time. But none of these advantages made the "Fleet 543" afraid, especially after mastering Sam, the height was originally the biggest limit, but Sam's shooting target could reach more than 24,000 meters, completely becoming the nemesis of the American Black Widow U-2.
At that time, our country faced the crazy invasion of u-2 and also issued the "order to eliminate enemy aircraft." However, facing a cunning opponent, our strategy of waiting for the rabbit is no longer possible, because the u-2 is extremely fast, and we only have three camps on the ground. It is a very difficult task to capture and attack in 9.6 million square kilometers of airspace. By 1967, our country's "Red Flag 2" surface-to-air missile was officially launched, ending our history of using the Soviet Sam.
