In the past two days, a young girl from Guangzhou unexpectedly found that she had become a material for a group of Taiwanese media to "political collision" on the mainland, and was even involved in the whirlpool of "political fraud".
The story is like this: a few days ago, Taiwan's "Liberty Times", ETToday News Cloud, TVBS News Network and other Taiwanese media suddenly began to claim that a woman from the mainland posted on the overseas social networking website Facebook that Taiwan is the motherland she "wanted to return to", and said that the woman also said that Taiwan is very free, and life in the mainland is always under surveillance, so she wants "Taiwanese nationality".
And the Apple Daily, which has always incited "Hong Kong independence" in Hong Kong and incited "Taiwan independence" in Taiwan, even after seeing this news, she excitedly declared: This mainland woman really has "courage".
These Hong Kong and Taiwan media also claimed with "nosed and eyes" that this mainland woman is from Guangzhou and is named "Wang Shiyun". The reports are all written based on the posts posted by the woman on Facebook.
But the problem lies here: this account named "Wang Shiyun" is simply a liar who steals photos and fakes other people's identities. Ms. Guo, the impersonated victim, has been struggling to defend her rights and demand that these Hong Kong and Taiwan media delete these wrong reports.
According to Ms. Guo, she had never been to Taiwan at all, and the "Wang Shiyun" who pretended to be her stolen a large number of her photos from Ms. Guo's other social accounts. Ms. Guo also said that she was patriotic and loved Guangzhou and would not write any remarks that were used by Hong Kong and Taiwan media to "pornography". She also simply left a message in the comment section of Apple Daily, reprimanding these Hong Kong and Taiwan media for fabricating [fake news] in order to "being brainless against China".
Gentleb brother also confirmed after verification that Ms. Guo was indeed pretending to be impersonated, and found several pictures of her being stolen by the "Wang Shiyun" on Ms. Guo's account on the overseas social platform Instagram. For example, the photos below were used by "Wang Shiyun" as her avatar and widely circulated by Hong Kong and Taiwan media were published by Ms. Guo as early as 2015.
In addition, Ms. Guo also said that the spread of this fake news by Apple Daily and other media has caused serious harassment to her life, making her "physical and mental exhausted". She didn't know why anyone pretended to be her. In an interview with Brother Gengzhi, Ms. Guo said that she had suffered many inexplicable personal attacks because of this incident, and she was also worried that the person who pretended to be her had done anything other excessive using her identity.
And what puzzled Ms. Guo was that she had complained to the Facebook website that she was faked, but the website said that this practice was "not illegal".
At present, although under Ms. Guo's continued rights protection, these Hong Kong and Taiwan media have finally added a small clarification to their reports, saying that the previous account that claimed to "return to Taiwan, Taiwan," was a fake, but these media did not delete their wrong reports and publicly apologize to Ms. Guo, which did not effectively eliminate the adverse effects on Ms. Guo.
. On social platforms such as Facebook, Apple Daily and other media have continued to retain the previously published [fake news] and have not deleted it. Many overseas anti-China websites, such as many websites of the cult Dharma X Gong, are still disseminating this [fake news] as a "real thing".
This is exactly what Ms. Guo is most worried about. She told Gengzhi brother that she was afraid that other websites and platforms would continue to spread this [fake news] because it would bring her a lot of unreasonable harassment.

Finally, Ms. Guo still had some words to say to those Hong Kong and Taiwan media that fabricated [fake news] and caused her to suffer.
She said: "I hope that as a media in Hong Kong and Taiwan, I can be more rational when expressing my political stance and attitude. Before reporting the news, I can repeatedly review the authenticity of the news to avoid hurting innocent people."
At the same time, on Facebook, Ms. Guo also wrote a statement with the same meaning:
So, I wonder what everyone thinks about this practice of Taiwan and some Hong Kong media using [fake news] to "bump into caring" the mainland, engage in "political fraud" and harming this innocent Guangzhou girl?
Gentle brother thinks that if the Hong Kong and Taiwan media think that the "freedom" they have is the "freedom" of fabricating [fake news], the "freedom" of engaging in [political bumps] and [political fraud], and the "freedom" of harming innocent others at will, that is the greatest insult to [freedom].
