"Qin Zheng Returns to Qin - Concert for the Concert of Mr. Zhou Yanjia, the leader of the Shaanxi genre of Qin Zheng, was held in the Concert Hall of the National Library Art Center on the evening of August 10. The audience enjoyed Mr. Zhou Yanjia's works through online and offline linkage.
Mr. Zhou Yanjia is a famous Qin Zheng master, an educator, performer, a leader of the Shaanxi Zheng school, and a representative inheritor of Qin Zheng, a project in Shaanxi Province, and a project intangible cultural heritage. He has devoted his life to the revival and development of Qin Zheng's career. Not only did it cultivate a large number of outstanding Guzheng talents, it also achieved outstanding achievements in Guzheng theory and Guzheng works, but it also created and performed a large number of works.
This concert brought together works such as "Qin Sangqu", "Hundred Flowers", "Dao Love", " Jiang Nu Tears ", "Filling Cup Love", "White Tong Song", "New Flirting Luo Jiang Resentment", and the arrangement and adaptation of works "Desolate Song", "Embroidered Golden Plaque", "Mingyuan Thoughts on the Spring", as well as "Qin Zhenyu, a professor of the Central Conservatory of Music, for the 35th Anniversary of the Founding of the Shaanxi Qinzheng Society in 2018 and "Qin Tu Love", which was composed by Professor of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, and won the 10th China Music Golden Bell Award for Excellent Works Award. The concert specially invited famous conductor Wang Fujian, Professor Wang Fujian of the Central Conservatory of Music and Professor Zhou Zhan of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music to take the lead, and the Chinese Broadcasting National Orchestra to serve as the concert.
concert kicks off with the cheerful zheng ensemble "Hundred Flowers Inscription". This song depicts a beautiful picture of spring, bees and butterflies flying, and flowers blooming, and symbolizes people's new life of joy, happiness and civilization. Zhou Benli, the third generation successor of Qin Zheng, performed the designated entry for the Golden Bell Awards of China Music, "Jiang Nu Tears", which fully demonstrated the Shaanxi musical characteristics of "common sounds, heart-warming, sincere and delicate and tactful".
In the second half, Guzheng performer Su Chang played the "White Tong Song" composed by Guzheng performer Zhou Zhan based on the song of the same name created by Mr. Zhou Yanjia in 1964. The music has a distinct Henan tone and is written to commemorate the role model of cadres and revolutionary martyr Jiao Yulu; the famous Pipa player Yang Jing and the famous guzheng performer Zhou Wang cooperated to perform the Guzheng solo "Gongyuan Sichun" adapted by Mr. Zhou Yanjia based on the transplant of pipa music and arranged by composer Zhu Yi. The concert ends with "Qin Sang Song" played by four famous artists, Wang Zhongshan, Zhang Xiaohong, , and Zhou Zhan. The music uses the bowl-and-bow-tongue music from Shaanxi as the material, and uses the poetry in Li Bai "Spring Thoughts" to express his longing for his relatives. The wonderful performances of several famous artists pushed the entire concert to a climax. Before the concert, the first launch ceremony of Mr. Zhou Yanjia's collection of works during his lifetime - "Qin Zhengxing, the music collection of Zhou Yanjia's works" and the donation ceremony of Mr. Zhou Yanjia's manuscripts were also held. Mr. Zhou Yanjia's descendants donated the music collection and some manuscripts he wrote during his lifetime to the National Library. Xiong Yuanming, director of the National Library, accepted the donation and issued a donation certificate to Mr. Zhou Yanjia's descendants.
President of the Guzheng Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, Professor Wang Zhongshan, famous Guzheng player, Professor Zhou Wang, famous guzheng player, Professor Yang Jing, famous pipa player, and Zhang Xiaohong, and other well-known experts, along with the third-generation successors of Qin Zheng, Zhou Benli, Zhou Sihan and Su Chang, Cheng Haoru , Shang Jingya , Rui Yirong, Wang Jue and other outstanding young Guzheng players, as well as the "Hundred Flowers Inscription" zither, "Changxiang" zither, and "China Zheng" five-color string zither orchestra, so that more music fans can feel the unique artistic charm of Qin Zheng through online and offline linkage.
