Previously, Dimensity 9200 was revealed to be shipped much earlier than the previous generation. The first terminal product will be released before the end of the year, and it is likely to be the latest annual flagship of Blue Factory - vivoX90 series. In addition to Blue Factory, several domestic mobile phone manufacturers are also following up on Dimensity 9200, one of which will be an e-sports gaming phone with the main performance.
It is reported that the biggest change of Dimensity 9200 is that the CPU partially replaces the latest Cortex-X3 super-large core. As an upgraded version of Cortex-X2, Cortex-X3 has made many improvements in the overall architecture. The decoder's periodic instructions have been increased from 5 to 6, the out-of-order execution window has been increased from 288 to 320, and the integer ALU units have been increased from 4 to 6. In terms of caching, the L2 cache capacity of Cortex-X3 has also increased from 512KB to 1MB, while the L3 cache capacity has reached 8MB. Compared with previous generations, it is expected that performance will be improved by 25%. The

GPU part may use the latest Immortalis-G715, which is also Arm's latest, and its biggest feature is that it supports hardware-level ray tracing technology. According to Arm's official statement, the core area of the Immortalis-G715 used for ray tracing accounts for less than 4%, which can improve performance by 300% compared to software-accelerated ray tracing. At the same time, compared with the previous generation Mail-G710, its overall performance has also been improved by 15%, and its energy consumption has been reduced by 15%.

In mid-2022, the outstanding performance of Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 9000+ has allowed various flagship phones to follow up on the Dimensity flagship processing platform and won the favor of many consumers. Thanks to this, MediaTek has long occupied the top ranks in the world's mobile phone chip market share for most of 2022. Of course, netizens can shout "Brother Fa, Yes!", but at the same time, this also puts a lot of pressure on the performance of Dimensity 9200.

The digital circle at the end of this year is destined to be uneasy, with chips and flagships competing on the same stage like tacitly. We might as well look forward to its performance if Dimensity 9200 can take the lead in this "war of the gods".
