In order to solidly promote the construction of a safe Tung Chung and the creation of a national anti-drug demonstration city, prevent and reduce road traffic accidents to the greatest extent, and effectively maintain road traffic order and social safety and stability, on the evening of April 14, the People's Government of Dongchong Town organized a "100-day battle" action oath-taking meeting in the Tung Chung Square for special rectification of road traffic safety and anti-drug.

The meeting emphasized that all agencies, enterprises, institutions, schools, villages (communities) should effectively improve their political stance, implement the people-centered development concept, and further unify their thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the superior party committees and governments. All comrades should work together to unite and work together to carry out road traffic safety and anti-drug safety rectification campaigns. After the meeting, the city brigade, in conjunction with the People's Government of Dongchong Town and the Dongchong Police Station, the 13th Road Traffic Order Remediation Action for the 2022 urban area and the Dongchong Town Road Traffic Order Remediation Action for the Dungong Town Road Traffic Order Remediation Action for the Dungong Town at all major intersections and sections of Dongchong Town in the jurisdiction. During the operation, a total of 13 cases of drunk driving (including 2 cases of suspected drunk driving), 78 cases of two or three-wheeled motorcycles were seized, 3 cases of driving without a license, 4 cases of driving without a license, 2 cases of overloading in small cars, 1 case of trucks illegally installed, 10 cases of small cars not being inspected annually overdue, 2 cases of trucks overloading, 9 cases of illegal parking, 2 cases of other traffic violations, 162 cases of minor illegal acts were corrected.
