According to Apple, this 1-meter charging cable is woven and has USB-C connectors on both ends. It can be used for charging and is also suitable for synchronization or data transmission between USB-C devices.
Use the USB-C braided charging cable with a compatible USB-C power adapter to charge the device with its advantages of fast charging. USB-C power adapter needs to be purchased separately.
In terms of data transmission speed, the USB-C interface supports the latest and fastest USB 4 standard, and the transmission speed can reach 40Gbps. In contrast, the transmission speed of the Lightning interface is only USB 2.0 standard, usually around 480Mbps.
It is worth mentioning that in the first half of this year, EU proposed to unify the USB-C interface on mobile phones, which is more conducive to environmental protection. Multiple devices can share a cable.
Recently, the European Parliament also approved this bill, requiring that all new portable smart devices such as mobile phones, tablets, etc. will use the charging interface of USB Type-Ch from the end of 2024.
