Baoshan Stone City is located in the Jinsha River Canyon 110 kilometers north of Lijiang City. It is named after more than a hundred families live on an independent mushroom-shaped boulder. Lijiang Baoshan Stone City is called "Labelu Panwu" in Naxi, which means "Baoshan Baishizhai". The city has tile houses and alleys crisscrossing. Lijiang Naxi tribe residents build houses. The pillars and stones of the houses are made of according to the trend. They are simple and natural, and are extremely unique.
Lijiang Baoshan Stone City is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, with one stone slope directly into the Jinsha River. Only two stone gates from north to south can be accessed. It is a real natural dangerous city.
Baoshan Stone City was built between the Yuan Dynasty and the first year of the Yuan Dynasty (1277-1294 AD). At that time, it was one of the seven prefectures under the jurisdiction of Xuanfu Department of Lijiang Road - Baoshan Prefecture. It is called "Tubolu Panwu" in Naxi, meaning "Baoshan Baishizhai", and "Tubo" means Baoshan. The ancestors of the Naxi people migrated here about the 5th and 6th century during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. At that time, Baoshan Prefecture had mountains and deep river valleys, with dense primeval forests and abundant animal and plant resources.

Day 1: Lijiang-Ninglang-Lugu Lake-Dazui Village (240 kilometers)
Depart from Lijiang Ancient City at 8 o'clock in the morning to Lugu Lake, the Eastern Girls Country. Because the road is now built on the way (about six and a half hours), we arrived at the Jinsha River bank at noon, and had Chinese food here to enjoy the green Jinsha River water like a ribbon. At about 3:30 pm, we arrived at the Lugu Lake Observation Platform and enjoy the picturesque scenery and the water and sky. Then go to Dazui Village in Lugu Lake, Sichuan, and pass through natural villages such as Rig, Xiaolushui, Nisai, and Dazui. Along the way, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Rig Peninsula, the lover tree of Nisai Village, the outlet of Lugu Lake, and other beautiful natural scenery. In the afternoon, I rowed under the sunset, enjoyed the beautiful sunset scenery on the golden lake, climbed the Dazui Island in the middle of the lake, and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. After rowing the boat, I went to a home in Dazui Village, visiting the Mosuo residential buildings, learn about the wedding culture, and taste local delicacies. In the evening, we attended a fire party organized by local young men and women. We held hands and danced, sang, and cared about the bonfire. I stayed in the viewing room by Lugu Lake at night, watching the stars in the sky, and fell asleep pillowing the sound of waves by the lake.
Day 2: Dazui - Caohai - Huanhu - Baoshan Stone City (200 kilometers)
Get up in the morning to enjoy the dreamy sunrise of Lugu Lake, then go for breakfast, and then go to Lugu Lake's famous Walking Bridge . Walking Bridge is a village connecting the two sides of Caohai, and it is the place where local Mosuo men and women date here. Visit the Caohai and then go around the lake along the lakeside road, enjoy the pure and beautiful natural scenery of Lugu Lake in all aspects, and have Chinese food in Dalushui Village in the direction of Lugu Lake in Yunnan at noon.After Chinese food, I drove along the road back to Lijiang for about four hours to reach Baoshan Stone City, the primitive village on the Jinshui River. Day 3: Stone City - Visit Jinsha River - Lijiang (140 kilometers)
Wake up in the crisp and loud rooster crowing in the morning. At this time, the quiet Stone City is already curling smoke, and some villagers have already gone to the fields to work, which is a peaceful paradise. Open the window. The fragrant and fresh air of the Jinsha River is refreshing. Appreciating the green and colorful Jinsha River water in the steep canyon makes people feel relaxed and sleepy. After breakfast, I went uphill from the west gate of Stone City to the deep Jinsha River. I took a cruise ship to the famous Prince Pass along the silk-like green river water, and felt the magical and steepness of the Jinsha River Canyon. The cruise ship can go to the other side of the Jinsha River and take pictures of the Magical Stone City from different angles. After having Chinese food in Stone City, I started to return to Lijiang, passing through several primitive ancient villages and spectacular terraces in the canyons.
