On the evening of October 21, Wang Minghui told Cover News reporter that his mother, Ms. Wang, was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal malignant tumor in 2020. During the treatment period, in order to encourage his mother, he promised to take her around China in the future. After being discharged from the hospital, his mother recovered well. This summer, he and his cousin took their mother out for a trip.
Mother likes their current city Dali . They will visit Dali recently. "All the way is her. As long as she is happy, we will stay for a while longer."

Wang Minghui: I am from Anqing, Anhui. I came from 1994. I love music and sing. I have started a business and opened a studio before. Sometimes I feel that my fate is tragic. Not long after the studio is open, my mother fell ill.
My mother is 51 years old this year. Before she got sick, my dad and worked in Shanghai. Later, I went to see them once. My dad said my mom was not very comfortable and asked me to take her for a checkup. I found something was wrong. Then I found out that the condition was found and I changed to several cities and many hospitals. After the treatment and recuperation, seeing that her physical condition has recovered well, she set off this year to take her out for a walk.
Cover News: Why do you want to take your mother to travel across the country? When did you start to have this idea?
Wang Minghui: I had this idea during my mother's treatment. I was also enlightening her, hoping that she could cooperate with the treatment, which was actually a promise I made to my mother. At that time, I said, when your health is better, I will take you to travel all over China. She was also happy and said yes. In the first half of this year, I checked various materials and did a lot of homework. When the weather became warmer, I thought I would set off.
Cover News: When did you find out that your mother was sick?
Wang Minghui: In 2020, my dad said that her throat was sore and she felt uncomfortable, so I hurriedly (take my mother) to register. It feels like it's on the verge of life and death. My mother has experienced a great ordeal and I cherish the time I am now. For more than a month, I was looking for a hospital, hoping to get better treatment conditions, and I kept checking repeatedly. I was still nervous when I was not diagnosed. Then I was finally diagnosed in Guangzhou, which was a malignant tumor in the nasopharyngeal area.
The side effects of chemoradiation and chemotherapy were very serious, and those days were particularly painful. The first phase of chemotherapy was fine, and there was no big reaction, just a little hair lost. The reaction was particularly large since the second phase. So at that time, I made up my mind to take my mother to see the scenery and go out and take a walk around.
Cover News: Is life affected now? How is it recovering?
Wang Minghui: Now she is in good health and mental state. The doctors praise my mother for those who have seen her, whether they are strangers or known people, including those who have gone for a review. In addition to the treatment effect, she didn't expect her resting spirit to be so good.

Wang Minghui: Originally, the destination was Xinjiang. Because the distance was very far, I thought that Xinjiang was just a destination. I could take her to the whole country along the way. She had never traveled, and she was (feeling) novelty in any place and could gain different results.
Cover News: Are you starting from your hometown Anqing ? How many people are there in a group?
Wang Minghui: Yes, I drove by myself, and then there was a cousin of mine who came with me on the road and went to Yunnan to change the car with me. He has never been to Xinjiang, so we plan to go together and have a look after it on the way.

Wang Minghui: Like Xi'an, she may have never seen the antique night view and buildings. At that time, when she went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and saw the music fountain, she might have had a deep impression of that. Then why you stay in Dali? It is because Dali is comfortable, the weather is good, the air is good, it is neither lukewarm nor hot, and you can take a walk along Erhai , , this state is particularly comfortable.
The doctor also said that she should exercise more. She can walk on Erhai Lake every day, and she can walk several kilometers. Maybe she likes this place very much, which is why I stay here for a while. She is the norm along the way. As long as she is happy, we will stay for a while wherever she likes.

Many people on the Internet encouraged me and kept caring about us, so my records along the way were for those who once cared about me. I hope to bring them a warmth and strength with our experiences, including the beautiful scenery and our singing.
Cover News: Your trip should be quite expensive. Can income support your travel?
Wang Minghui: Singing is one aspect of income. I love music and sing. I like this feeling. Singing while walking, and you can be a stage anywhere. Another thing is that I have published songs before, and the music copyright will also have some benefits, and there will be broadcast revenue on different platforms every month.
I still hope my mother can have a comfortable journey. I don’t support it like the ones like Kuaishou. I have brought a lot of equipment and haven’t built a tent so far. I try to find an inn as much as possible. I will read the guide online in advance and find the ones that are more cost-effective and do not waste money.

Wang Minghui: I basically don’t take her when I go out to sing. It’s very hard to sing and it’s very tiring. Wang Minghui: There is no such plan at the moment, because we are planning to travel all the way and sing while walking. Now it’s not yet the Chinese New Year, we are in , in the south, and we won’t consider it for the time being. We will definitely go back during the Chinese New Year.
