In past classic literary works, we can see many female characters who are eager to break through their lives: the rich wife Nara who runs away in " Doll House ", Emma who longs for upper-class life and gets tired of ordinary days in " Madame Bofarry ", Anna, the official wife who pursues love dreams in "Anna Karenina", Katie who is unwilling to be boring in the veil...

In these stories, we can see that there is a similar desire surging in the heart of the heroine, which is wrapped in grand nouns, wealth, love... They are fed and fed, so as described in Maslow's theory of needs, they begin to pursue spiritual richness.

Is this a kind of middle class or even upper class sorrow? Perhaps for women, this is universal, an emotion that has surged in everyone's heart, because this feeling is not about the rich and the poor, but about a person's instinct to break free from the shackles and pursue himself, just gender may be one of them.

In the collection of novellas "All the Wind Blows Only to They" published by CITIC Publishing House in October this year, the author Liu Ting focused more on women from different sources to describe their desires and their courage to trek out. These women may be aphasic people in life. We cannot hear too many of their voices, nor do they take the initiative to speak out, and they are the majority around us. It is precisely their life stories that paint the fantasy of our times.

"All the Wind Blows Only to They" contains four novellas, writing about four contemporary women, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years old, and named them with "Plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum". These characters are the incarnations of different women in literature that Liu Ting learned. He chose puzzles of different sizes, shapes and colors from real life, and used literary methods to shape them into an image.

The warmth of humanity in their stories is also the cruelty of the times. They have crossed urban and rural areas, crossed identity, and crossed age. They stood together and formed a group of women in an era - they are right next to each of us, with inexplicable stubbornness and barbaric energy, moving around in the cracks, and each "living and living grandly."

They are the aphasia in life, but they are the mainstream people in this society. We often forget that they have their own accents, preferences, tenacity and courage, "they are the thousands of appearances of life." They have no rational elegance, nor are they critics and reflective people. They are by our side, floating above the heat of life.
