At around 21:00 on November 29, 2021, a traffic accident occurred in which a motorcycle and an electric bicycle collided at the zebra crossing of Guangchang Huayuan, Longkun South Road, Haikou City, resulting in minor injuries to the driver of the electric bicycle.
After preliminary investigation, the motorcycle driver, Wu Mouxia (male, 32 years old), an auxiliary police officer of the Longhua Brigade of Haikou Public Security Traffic Police, committed illegal acts of driving drunk or running a red light. The blood sample of driver Wu Mouxia was tested by judicial appraisal agency . The identification results showed that the ethanol content of the blood sample was 117.69mg/100mL, which was a motor vehicle driving while drunk.
Driver Wu Mouxia is a personal act not working hours and is currently being criminally detained for suspected dangerous driving. The case is under further investigation and handling.
On November 30, the Haikou Public Security Traffic Police Detachment expelled Wu Mouxia, and the Haikou Municipal Public Security Bureau will initiate accountability for the relevant responsible leaders.
