It is Yanbi gas station. This small gas station is the only oil supply enterprise in Kuzongqiao Township. Since its completion and operation in 2004, it has suffered losses every year, but it has been persistent day and night to undertake all the production and daily oil for the local people.

"There have been different these years. Rice transplantation is almost mechanized." Chen Youlin, secretary of the Party Branch of Gujing Village, said that Gujing Village is a key village for rice and rapeseed planting in the town. As soon as spring begins, there is no idle at all. "Iron cows", rice transplanters, and harvesters are "busy and can't win".

Jiang Dashe, a large-scale grower, was about to work and found that there was not much diesel left in the arable machine. Just when he was anxious, he suddenly thought that the gas station staff had left a phone number. So, I called the gas station for assistance.

In less than 20 minutes, Huang Zhihua, the manager of Yanpi gas station, came to Lao Jiang's field with two barrels of diesel.

Yanbei Gas Station was completed and put into operation in 2004 by the Hengyang Branch of Hunan Sales of China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd.

For more than ten years, local people have used less oil and gas stations have suffered losses every year. In 2019, the gas station equipment and facilities will reach their age. To ensure safety, they must be renovated or closed. According to the company's financial estimates, the loss of nearly 500,000 yuan will be reduced every year; if it continues to operate, a large amount of money will be invested to re-renovate. After calculating the economic accounts, Hengyang Branch decided to close the station.

"The gas station is closed, and we have to go to Jinlan Town dozens of miles away to refuel, which is time-consuming, laborious and expensive. The whole village is in a hurry, and the old branch secretary takes us to find the Hengyang branch." Chen Youlin recalled that after learning about the situation and asked the superior company for instructions, he decided that no matter how difficult it is, he should give priority to ensuring the needs of villagers.

On December 12, 2019, Yanbi Gas Station invested 3.88 million yuan. After four months of quality improvement and transformation, all aging equipment and facilities were replaced, and the dilapidated eaves were completely renewed and reopened.

"They need to use oil when traveling, and spring plowing requires oil. If we leave, it will be inconvenient to refuel the transportation and agricultural machinery and equipment here." Huang Zhihua said that wherever there is a demand for oil, build and guard the gas station.

Today, the service scope of Yanpi Gas Station covers two townships, Kuzongqiao Township and Jinlan Town, radiating to more than ten kilometers and more than 70,000 people around.
