According to Taiwan’s Yahoo News Network on the 19th, Taiwan’s “Legislative Yuan” conducted a budget report for the Taipei Palace Museum on the same day. The Democratic Progressive Party’s “legislator” Fan Yun said that he found that some products were written “Made in China”. After asking acquaintances to inspect the souvenir shop, he found that about 1/4 of the souvenirs were made in mainland China, and some were marked “Made in mainland China”. She also claimed that even the representative jade cabbage series products are mostly made in mainland China, affecting the impression of foreign tourists. Fan Yun said that the response he received after asking the museum was that the manufacturers entrusted by the Museum were all Taiwanese manufacturers, but some of them set up factories in mainland China and the museum could not manage them. Wu Micha , director of the Taipei Palace Museum, said that the contract with the manufacturer did not regulate the matter, and promised to write "Made In Taiwan" with the manufacturer in the future. Fan Yun was still dissatisfied and further stated that he would sell the inventory at a discount and dispose of it as soon as possible.
Under relevant news, some netizens on the island criticized that not to mention souvenirs, "the jade cabbage and meat-shaped stone on display are also Made in China, so why should they all be withdrawn?" Some people believe that the "de-Sinicization" of the "Green Committee" is full of ideological conflicts.
