From May 16 to 20, the 2022 Hainan Provincial Women's Federation's grassroots "Leader" training class was held in Haikou. 58 grassroots women's federation cadres and female leaders from all cities and counties across the province participated in the training.
Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Women's Federation, and Li Weizhu, Deputy Education Director of the Provincial Party School, attended the opening ceremony. In his speech at the opening class, Lin Yingzi pointed out that when General Secretary Xi Jinping recently visited Hainan, he proposed to strengthen cadre education and training, guide the majority of party members and cadres to arm their minds with the Party’s innovative theories, consciously practice their original mission, and strive to solve the problems of "panic ability" and insufficient ability. At the summary of the annual activities of the work style rectification and construction in the province and the mobilization and deployment meeting of the annual activities of capacity improvement construction in the year, Secretary Shen Xiaoming pointed out that now, more than at any time in history, we need a cadre team with strong abilities, strong qualities and able to fight tough battles to ensure the high-quality development of the free trade port cause. The "leaders" at the grassroots level are at the grassroots level, facing the women's masses, and strengthening the training of grassroots women's federation cadres is an urgent requirement for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and a practical need to deepen the construction of Women's federation organizations. She asked the trainees to attach great importance to it first and fully understand the importance of training and learning; second, study hard and effectively enhance the actual results of training and learning; third, strictly abide by discipline and complete the learning tasks with quality and quantity. The training class of
has a clear theme and a high political stance. It comprehensively learns and understands the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection of Hainan, the spirit of the eighth provincial party congress. It also arranges courses such as the interpretation of Hainan Free Trade Port’s policies and progress, rural revitalization and Hainan’s practice, the mass line is always the lifeline of the Party, the interpretation of the Family Education Promotion Law, the security analysis and path selection of safeguarding women’s legitimate rights and interests, the improvement of new media application capabilities, deepening the reform of the Women’s Federation, and promoting innovation in women’s development work, and strives to improve the political stance and comprehensive quality capabilities of the “leader” of the Women’s Federation at the grassroots level. The training class also organized students to conduct on-site teaching in Fangyuan Village, Yanfeng Town, Haikou City. The training forms are diverse, including special lectures, case teaching, on-site teaching, student exchanges, short video production and practical practice, which fully mobilized the enthusiasm of students to study and discuss.
At the training class graduation ceremony, three student representatives made exchange speeches respectively. Everyone generally reported that this training closely combines the new requirements of the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and the "Capacity Improvement Construction Year" activity in our province. According to the actual situation of deepening the reform of the Women's Federation and the actual needs of grassroots women's federation cadres, the training is carried out on demand, with rich content and flexible forms, covering all aspects of the Women's Federation work, which is easy to understand and highly guided. It not only exercises party spirit, improves the political ability of and the ability to perform duties, but also gains knowledge, further clarifying future goals, tasks and working methods.
At the graduation ceremony, Lin Yingzi put forward three hopes for the students. First, I hope that all students will adhere to lifelong learning, enrich knowledge structure, improve comprehensive abilities, and truly become experts competent for their jobs; second, I hope that all students will insist on applying what they have learned, combine learning and application, learn and apply them flexibly, transform the learning results into practical ability and practical actions to guide practice and promote work, and better solve various problems and difficulties encountered in work; third, I hope that all students will continue to play a leading role, be the "leader" of the grassroots Women's Federation, and follow the decisions and deployments of the Eighth Provincial Party Congress, strictly implement the work, strengthen the ideological and political leadership of women at the grassroots level, organize and mobilize women to participate in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, pay attention to family education and family style work, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of women and children, promote the reform of the Women's Federation to deepen, and shoulder the responsibility of the Women's Federation to build the Hainan Free Trade Port and contribute women's strength.
