After seeing the old man hanging upside down on the 14th floor, he immediately called 110 and 119, and then called a young man and a woman from the next building to rush upstairs to rescue him. Finally, the old man escaped safely after the rescuers arrived.
Recalling the scene I saw at that time, Ms. Yang described to reporters: It was very thrilling. At around 8:30 am on October 25, Ms. Yang was buying vegetables and preparing to go home, passing by Sanxiu Garden Community, Nanxiong City where the incident occurred. "My community is next door, and I pass by every day when I buy vegetables." Looking up inadvertently, Ms. Yang saw a person hanging on the windows on the 14th floor of a building. I took out my phone and enlarged it before I saw it clearly. An old man hung upside down outside the window, with a chair stuck at his feet.
didn't dare to think too much, Ms. Yang quickly called 110 and 119. But the situation was critical, so she called a passing man and went upstairs with her to check the situation downstairs. While taking the elevator, Ms. Yang met another woman, an aunt from the next building. "She said she was drying clothes in the next building, and she saw someone hanging by the window and putting down her clothes, and ran over," said Ms. Yang.
In fact, Ms. Yang had no idea whether the old man was locked. She originally wanted to kick the door open with the man, but fortunately the old man did not lock the door at her home. When they opened the door, the three of them saw the old man's whole body hanging upside down outside the window on the 14th floor, with only one foot stuck in the backrest of the stool indoors, and the backrest of the chair and legs were stuck on the window, which prevented the old man from falling down.

According to local media reports, the old man is over 80 years old and has just had a brain surgery. He did not speak after being rescued, but he could sit on the chair independently.
