Taichung City Xitun District is the most beautiful sea of flowers in Xitun District! The 10-hectare sea of flowers is beautiful and attracts tourists from all over the world every year. More than 1,000 pine trees planted next to the flower sea have turned red and yellow, with picturesque scenery, becoming one of the most popular attractions for taking photos and checking in. Xitun District Mayor Chen Baoyun said that in order to allow citizens to appreciate the beautiful sea of flowers, Guangfu Community and local temples and communities mobilized all the flowers, and the Agriculture Bureau provided the seeds of seedlings. After sowing at the end of last year, after nearly two months, welcoming a full flower field, including cosmos and rapeseed flowers blooming, and sunflowers are still working hard to grow. It is expected that by the Spring Festival, the most beautiful and spectacular pictures will be used to make tourists who come to appreciate it shout "Water!"
In order to welcome the 2020 Taiwan Lantern Festival, Xitun District Office and the community are working hard to use rural special straw elements to add large-scale art installations, straws, and shaped buffaloes to the flower fields. The materials are made of iron skeletons, and the outer periphery is wrapped with straw ropes to present different straw textures and create a rural style.
