The 2021 gift box design, inspired by family reunion, tells the story of a fantasy return journey of the Bucks from Scotland's "Deer Valley". The work continues the artist's unique, fantasy and retro illustration style, combining traditional Eastern visual elements with Western expressions, with bright colors, vivid brushstrokes and clear layers.
In Western culture, "stag" is regarded as a symbol of mystery, spirituality and power. In the East, the meaning of "deer" is prosperity, wealth and longevity. The picture is centered on deer, and New Year elements such as fireworks, lanterns, lion dances are embellished. It is also painted with transportation such as trains, planes, ships, etc., showing a dynamic scene of the whole country running around for the reunion of the family.
