At 9 a.m. on October 11, the farewell ceremony for Wang Zhigang's body was held at the Donglin Funeral Home in Chengdu. Nearly 100 relatives, friends and colleagues of Wang Zhigang came to attend the ceremony during his lifetime.

However, Wang Zhigang had previously told his lover Baima that public security work may face life danger at any time. If one day misfortune occurs, I hope to leave myself in Shiqu Zhaxika Grassland . Based on this consideration, several elderly people at home discussed that they would follow Wang Zhigang's idea and bring the ashes to Shiqu. The Shiqu County Public Security Bureau will also set up a tombstone for Wang Zhigang and buried the local martyrs' forest garden.
