According to Russia Today’s TV (RT) report on the 21st, in response to two recent scandals in Ukraine calling for the killing of Russian children and castrating Russian prisoners, Ukrainian President Zelensky’s senior adviser Alexei Arestovic said that the call to kill Russian children or castrate captured soldiers is absolutely unacceptable, which will destroy Ukraine’s image as a civilized European country. He also called on the Ukrainians to respect the Geneva Convention and the Law of War.

Arestovic said in a video posted on social media Facebook, "We cannot violate the Geneva Convention, which allows the elimination of enemies on the battlefield, but does not allow us to laugh at prisoners of war, let alone call for retaliation against civilians, children and prisoners of war." He added that such appeals seriously damaged the public image of Ukraine and reminded the Ukrainians that doing so also violates international laws and domestic laws of Ukraine.
Arestovic specifically mentioned the emotional outbreaks of two Ukrainian public figures on live TV in the past week. On March 20, Ukrainian doctor and Ukrainian "First Voluntary Mobile Hospital" project leader Gennady Drutzenko said in a live interview with Ukraine Channel 24 that he had ordered doctors in the mobile hospital to castrate all captured Russian male soldiers "because they are cockroaches, not humans."

Druzenko apologized on the 21st, saying that he was out of control at the time. He and his colleagues did not take such a way to anyone, nor did they plan to do so.
Earlier, Ukraine Channel 24 host Fahruddin Sharafmal quoted Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann on the show, calling for genocide by killing Russian children.
Sharavmaar later apologized, saying his call for genocide has damaged Ukraine's reputation and said he was emotional because a friend died in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. (Editor: HHJ)
