I have heard about the Apex Suite seats used in Korean Air business class, so I didn’t hesitate and the ticket was issued soon. Because my App’s intention to choose a seat was to rely on the aisle, I automatically gave me a seat to rely on the aisle when I issued the ticket. The best seat for Apex Suite seats is by the window, so I wanted to change it, but it was impossible to change it on the App or online at that time. However, I called Delta customer service and helped me decide the location next to the window without any problems. Then in September, when I was itchy, I opened the Delta App and checked the same itinerary. I found that it only took 85,000 skymile to redeem business class at this time. So I called Delta customer service again and transferred the 10,000 skymile back to my account without any problems.
2. Airport Transportation and Check-in
In the past, I took the China Airlines flight from Bangkok to Vancouver, but this time I flew it at 9:40 am. Considering that my friend’s convenience is available to take the plane, I checked out from the hotel the day before, stayed at my friend’s house at night, and left at 6:30. But this trip took nearly two hours. This time, my trip to Bangkok was a sight to see the most congested traffic in the world, and I also saw a pretty sunrise.
3. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport -China Airlines lounge
After arriving at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, I found the check-in counter of Korean Air , and everything went smoothly from check-in, security check to customs. The lounge given by the Korean check-in counter is the lounge of Tiantong Alliance . To be honest, I don’t particularly like SkyTeam Lounge, so I sneaked to the China Airlines Lounge and asked if the front desk could use China Airlines. She said yes, but I can only choose one. If I decide to use China Airlines, then I can’t use SkyTeam Lounge. I said it was fine, so she made a boarding plane and entered the China Airlines lounge. At this time, there was less than an hour before taking off. When I walked into the lounge, I unexpectedly found that the lounge was almost empty, as if it was open specifically for me alone.

What I like most is the top-quality toasted coconut in the refrigerator. I didn’t drink much coconut during my trip to Thailand this time, and the China Airlines lounge can be considered a supplement for me.
There is also an older massage chair in the lounge.
After all, there is not enough time, so I should drink coconut water first. After drinking, I pulled up my luggage and went to the boarding gate. By the way, China Airlines does not have its own bathroom when it is in Bangkok Airport. If you need it, you have to walk out of the lounge to get a little distance and use the public bathroom.
4. Boarding and Welcome
It took 10 minutes to walk from China Airlines lounge to the last boarding gate, all of which are considered as digestion. The radio started boarding shortly after arriving at the gate. A Korean uncle was in front of me and he was walking in front of me, so it was difficult to make a film until he walked forward and couldn't see him, and I was about to turn left.
5. Cabin facilities and services
Today's flight from Bangkok to Incheon is Airbus A333. Now Korean Air has updated most of its wide-body passenger plane seats to Apex Suite, so even the A330, which performs regional routes, uses the same business class seats as intercontinental routes. This is more kind than many Asian airlines. For example, the A330 in regional business class of China Airlines and Singapore Airlines are both angled old-fashioned business class flat seats. After boarding the plane, the beautiful stewardess led me to my seat. Because it was the first time to board the plane in Business Class, I took more photos while there was no one. This is my seat on my first flight today. The Thai flight attendant took the initiative to take a few photos for me.
This front view angle shows that the seat arrangement of Apex Suite is slightly staggered, so even if you sit by the window, there is a small passage connecting the aisle. The small platform in front of the aisle seat just puts used cups and other utensils for passengers who are seated, so that the flight attendants can clean up.
This rear view angle shows the superiority of the window seat. If the privacy bezel is raised up, the seat near the window becomes an independent koku warehouse with very good concealment. Another very good advantage of the seating of
Apex Suite is that the foot space is open, unlike most anti-fish bone seats, the foot space is very small. For passengers who like to sleep on their side, Apex Suite combines comfort and privacy, especially the window seat.
The only drawback to the window seat is that there is no storage space, and there are only two small storage rooms at the head. The walkway seat has an additional storage box.
Korean Air's business class dining table is super big. If you like to work on a computer on the plane, it is definitely a blessing.
KA Air also provides slippers on this Asian regional route, but the quality seems stingy. In addition, the business class seats provide a small pillow, which feels that the quality is not as good as the economy class pillows of some airlines. So please give me one more.
6. In-flight dining and beautiful scenery
Shortly after sitting firmly, the flight attendant brought champagne, hot towels and bags of honey nuts. The flight attendant team leader came over to greet and thanked Korean Air for flying. Then the flight attendant came over to ask about the lunch and drinks they would order today. It was my first time flying to Korean Air, so I naturally ordered their Korean bibimbap. After the plane takes off, raise the privacy bezel, put down the seat, and relax and get confused for a while.
But soon lunch service started.

The main meal is Korean bibimbap, and I did not send a small card to introduce how to eat it, but the flight attendant thoughtfully asked if he had eaten it before and briefly explained how to eat it. It seems to be just mixing them together. There is also this Korean hot sauce made into toothpaste. It is not very spicy and bibimbap and it tastes very delicious. I used it all.
Before, I was worried that the amount of bibimbap was not enough, but I was very full after a meal. Although it is not a very special delicacy, as a very traditional Korean diet, it is also a very good experience. After the main meal, the flight attendant brought another fruit plate and ice cream. In fact, it was a choice of two. I was shameless and wanted both. After eating and drinking, I went to the bathroom in the business class.
In fact, I forgot to shoot the movie because I just thought it was a bit weird for them to put some razors in it. I heard that the water used in the bathroom on the plane is not very clean. First, I don’t use it to rinse my mouth, and second, I don’t use it to shave. But those small bottles of mouthwash are still very practical.
Go back to your seat and see that it will take more than three hours to arrive in Korea, so I put the seat flat and wanted to sleep for a while.
Soon the problem came. The pillow provided by Dahan was too small and it was uncomfortable to sleep. Even if there were two pillows, the two pillows could not get together. In addition, the blanket Dahanfa is very breathable and it feels very hot shortly after it is covered. It's a bit cold and awkward.
7. Arrived at Incheon Airport
But after all, I didn’t sleep for long last night and I was still very tired, so I slept on my side for more than two hours, and it was still very comfortable. This is the advantage of Apex Suite! Soon, the plane approached South Korea and looked through the windows to see what South Korea looked like.
Finally, the plane landed safely at Incheon Airport and successfully ended the first part of the trip.
8. Incheon Airport - A short stay at
Originally, the transfer time at Incheon Airport was only 50 minutes, but the plane was nearly an hour ahead of schedule. In this way, I should have plenty of time.Actually, it took a long time to check the security check at Incheon Airport. The airport did not provide priority security checks to the two warehouses or senior members, so this took a lot of time. It was the first time I set foot on South Korea and felt a little fresh. Incheon Airport is very new and modern, and you can understand why it was rated as one of the best airports.
There are Korean Air flight attendants with chopsticks on their heads everywhere. They are indeed very beautiful.
Because there is not much time, I really want to go to the Korean Air lounge before boarding the plane to take a shower. This time I found that the huge Incheon Airport did not have a good lounge sign! Finally, I went around for a long time and couldn't find it. I had to ask a service staff at the boarding gate, as if they told me the lounge in the opposite direction again! Anyway, I finally walked around for a long time before I found the Korean Air lounge. Because time is a bit tight, there are basically no movies in it. And there are quite a lot of people inside.
9. Boarding and Welcome
came out of the lounge and headed straight to the boarding gate because boarding has already started. The boarding gate of Incheon Airport is downstairs. After passing the ticket gate, you have to go down the stairs. Although there is a lift, it is somewhat inconvenient for passengers with hand luggage.
Today's model of flying from ICN-YVR is Boeing 777-300ER. It was originally flying from 787-9, but for some reason, it happened to fly from 77W for a week from today. I was a little disappointed, after all, 789 would be more comfortable.
10. Cabin facilities and services
After boarding the plane, the beautiful stewardess led me to my seat. The business class of the Korean Boeing 777-300ER is divided into two cabin sections, and the front cabin section is a relatively private cabin section with only one row of seats. And I chose this cabin.

I think Korean food is good as an airplane food, delicious and satisfying the stomach. Unlike regional flights, transoceanic flights have an extra cheese plate between the main meal and the dessert.
At first, the stewardess did not provide dessert wine. Later, she rang the bell and asked if she had dessert wine. The stewardess immediately smiled and held two bottles, one was a port and the other was a Canadian ice wine. Finally, she chose ice wine. Next comes dessert, blueberry cake and ice cream. As usual, I should choose one of two, but I still have to be shameless.
Eat and drink well, and there are still 7 hours before breakfast, so I decided not to do anything and just go to bed. This sleep actually slept for six and a half hours! After waking up, the flight attendant brought breakfast.

I felt like I was on the plane for a whole day, but due to the wonderful jet lag, I flew back to Vancouver on Monday morning.
12. Follow-up flight
The plane arrived at Vancouver Airport safely.Before landing, the flight attendant and the foreman came over to greet her again. I made a small complaint to her in English, which was the pillow. But the aunt didn't understand me at all. When I said something, she smiled and nodded, haha, okay, just pretend I didn't say anything! However, the flaws do not cover up the merits, and my first flight of Korean Air was actually very pleasant. During the entire flight, both from hardware facilities and flight attendants’ service quality and catering quality are excellent. As for the Apex Suite seats used in Korean business class, it is indeed well-known and is the most comfortable business class seat I have ever flown. If Daehan can improve the quality of their blankets and pillows, the hardware facilities will be nearly perfect. As for the flight attendant’s smile service, it gives me a very good feeling, and it is a very knowing smile. The only small regret is that due to language issues, the communication with the flight attendant is within the minimum limit, so the whole trip felt very comfortable, but it seemed that there was a little missing. However, after this experience, I will recommend Korean Air's business class without hesitation.
