1. Portability
When traveling far, chain oil wax is an item that must be carried, because motorcycle vehicles have limited carrying space, portability must be considered.
A is relatively small in size, occupying a small space, and is very easy to carry, but there is a problem. The lid of A is prone to sloppy, and needs to be wrapped in plastic bags and other items, and isolate it from other items.
B, very large in size, is not suitable for carrying with you in the vehicle, and it is more convenient to spray the chain in a fixed place. Because B is in can, unless the Knight has finished using it, if there is still a part of the tank left, its size is still so huge, and it is not convenient to carry out.
It also has another disadvantage, it must carry a small tube, otherwise it will be inconvenient to use.
C, similar to toothpaste, is smaller in size. As it is used gradually, its volume becomes smaller and smaller, and it is still very advantageous in terms of portability.
D, the overall portability is very inconvenient and very heavy, but it can be packed into other small cans to increase portability.
No matter what kind of chain oil wax you carry when you go out for fun, you must use special packaging, otherwise it will cause troubles of contaminating other items.
2. Easy cleanliness
After long-term use, the chain oil wax will absorb dust, mud and other messy things. If you do not clean it in time, it will easily die, causing the chain to wear too fast, affecting the driving experience.
After practical comparison, A sticks to less garbage, B belongs to a chain wax with strong viscosity, which will absorb a lot of dust. If the road conditions are very smoke and mud and water, BCD will cause the chain to look very disgusting.
In terms of cleaning difficulty, it is necessary to use a toothbrush, a chain brush and a professional cleaning agent to clean it slowly, and the water cannot be removed.
A is the easiest to clean, while BCD is the most troublesome.
3. Anti-rotating oil
A Anti-rotating oil? It can be said that I just walked a long way and felt like I was almost thrown. If I go to the highway, because the chain moves fast, I have to continue to use oil for 200 kilometers, otherwise I will see a bright chain. Maybe it will even throw the helmet and splash it all over, which is quite embarrassing.
B has relatively strong anti-oil swing ability because it is very sticky. When you accidentally shoot it on the wheel when you put it on wax, you can clearly feel how strong the stickiness is. If you don’t have high requirements, you can basically 400 kilometers last time. If you have obsessive-compulsive disorder, it is recommended to squirt diligently.
C and BD are basically the same. When you put it on a lot, it will also cause splashes, but it still does not have a very obvious advantage over chain oil.
3. Moisturization
is actually quite difficult to compare. I don’t know all kinds of chemical components. Oil seal chains and other types of chains are all. ABCD’s moisturization and damage to the chain cannot be verified in the short term. The author does not want to verify it. After all, non-professional institutions do not support it.
4. Convenience of use
A is relatively easy to apply oil, and can moisturize by unscrewing the lid, but its lid is easily contaminated with dirt on the chain, and it is designed with a gear-shaped oil outlet, which is more likely to contaminate dirt on the chain. Generally, the author will not use this oil outlet to produce oil.
B is a jet assembly, which is more convenient to use, but it must be supported by a long tube, otherwise the chain wax will splash and spray it onto other parts of the motorcycle, and cleaning is also required.As a toothpaste, it is extremely inconvenient to use its original brush to wax it. I wonder if the designer has used it himself. My experience is to bring cotton swabs that can be purchased by pharmacies and then apply the wax accurately to the chain. Although this can reduce dirt contaminated with C, it is also very troublesome to carry a cotton swab and is easy to forget.
D, you need to carry a cotton swab to apply to the chain, because D is a high-speed gear oil and can even be brushed. Special attention is required when applying.
5. After using so many maintenance items, I found that the merchant has actually dug a hole in advance. When using it, I found that there was no way to strictly follow the instructions for maintenance. In other words, when using chain oil wax, there is no way to achieve the usage scenario described in the instruction manual.
Instructions for use require cleaning the chain first, dry it and then putting the chain oil wax, and then let it sit for a while before using the vehicle. However, when actually using it, riders often find it difficult to do it.
I actually want to ask the merchant that this kind of usage scenarios usually only occur in the vehicle cleaning process in the car shop. Is the instruction manual setting too narrow? Is this to leave a way out for the merchant’s explanation when the Knight Chain Oil Wax is not used?
6. It is recommended that
combine the usage scenarios and usage conditions of several products, maintain at home or have the conditions to maintain it on a fixed site. B is the best use, and then to C, A is very difficult to use, D is eliminated.
