October 4th news, Apple recently released the latest version of the top 200 supply chains for the 2021 fiscal year. There are a total of 190 companies from around the world, supplying up to 98% of the raw materials, manufacturing, assembly and other projects of Apple . Among them, there are more than 50 suppliers in mainland China, which is Apple's largest supply area.
According to the list, there are 7 new entry in mainland China, and 8 manufacturers have been removed; Taiwan manufacturers in China have added 3 new manufacturers, and another 5 manufacturers have been removed.
Specifically, the mainland Chinese companies newly included in the Apple supply chain this time include: Beijing Zhongke Third Ring Road, Zhejiang Crystal Optoelectronics, Daming Holdings, Gande Electronics, Wingtech Technology , Jiangsu Kangrui Molding Technology, Baotou Inst thin magnetic new materials, and seven manufacturers; the list of mainland Chinese companies include: Jinjian Printing, Jinlong Mechanical and Electrical , Zhongshi Technology, OFILM , Shenzhen Xinlun Technology, Suzhou Shengli Precision, Suzhou Xinjieshun Hardware Mechanical and Electrical Machinery and other manufacturers.
For Taiwanese manufacturers in China, the newly added lists include Taibiao Technology, Kejia-KY, and the unlisted metal forging and powder metallurgy plant Taiyao Technology (TAIWAN POWDER TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD.); while the listed companies in China are Shuanghong, Kangkong-KY, Liangwei, Zhishen Technology, and Ruiyi.
In addition, in terms of Japanese manufacturers, newcomers to Apple's supply chain include Japan light metal and energy group ENEOS.
Korean chip design manufacturer LX Semicon has also become a new member of Apple's supply chain.
For US manufacturers, Power Integrations and Lattice Semiconductor have newly joined the supply chain, while Meixin and Shengxio have been eliminated.

However, industry insiders said that this list is Apple's top 200 supply chains. Therefore, even if the operator is not on the list, it does not mean that it is really not in the supply chain. It may be indirect shipments, or it may be due to factors such as low supply proportion. In addition, some manufacturers entered Apple's supply chain only in fiscal year 2022, so they were not included in the top 200 suppliers in 2021.
analysts said that Apple CEO Cook is good at supply chain management and risk control, so the top 200 supply chains each year have changed a lot. Although this move is more troubled to Apple's supply chain, it is a necessary measure to reduce supply risks for Apple.
Among them, the most popular one is that the mainland ODM leader Wingtai is on the list, highlighting that Apple's strategy of continuing to support mainland foundry has not changed, which has attracted attention. However, Wingtai also has a inheritance relationship with Ofilm, which has been removed from the list, which may also be the key to making Wingtai join the Apple chain.
