Alternate Member of the Central Committee Wang Yanling was appointed Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of Hubei Provincial Party Committee
According to the " Hubei Daily ", on the morning of July 15, a cadre meeting of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of Hubei Provincial Party Committee was held. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Ying Yong attended the meeting and put forward requirements for the political and legal work of Hubei Province and the construction of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Wang Yanling, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The decision of the provincial party committee on Comrade Wang Yanling's appointment was read out at the meeting. It is understood that Wang Yanling previously served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, Minister of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee’s College Working Committee.
Wang Yanling, female, born in September 1962, Han nationality, from Neihuang, Henan, postgraduate degree, Ph.D. in Science, professor, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1982, and started working in August 1983.

7pm on July 13, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission issued a message that Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Wang Yong , former vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Liu Guoqiang are suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and are currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
National Discipline Inspection and Supervision Organs punished 13 provincial and ministerial-level cadres in the first half of 2020
According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, on July 17, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on the supervision, inspection, review and investigation of the national discipline inspection and supervision organs in the first half of 2020.
In the first half of 2020, the national discipline inspection and supervision agencies received 1.431 million petition reports, dealt with 807,000 clues of problem, 178,000 interviews and inquiries, filed 286,000 cases, and punished 240,000 people (including 208,000 people for party discipline). 13 provincial and ministerial cadres, 1,314 department and bureau-level cadres, 9,000 county and department-level cadres, 33,000 township and department-level cadres, 39,000 general cadres, and 159,000 other personnel in rural areas, enterprises, etc.

In the first half of 2020, the national discipline inspection and supervision agencies used the "four forms" to criticize, educate, help and deal with 846,000 people. Among them, 598,000 people were used to criticize and educate the first form, accounting for 70.7% of the total number of people; 192,000 people were used to treat the second form, accounting for 22.8%; 27,000 people were used to treat the third form, accounting for 3.2%; 28,000 people were used to treat the fourth form, accounting for 3.3%.
