Yi Junbo, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Health Commission, Wang Jianyun, Second-level Researcher of the Municipal Health Commission, Zhang Bin, Chief of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of the Municipal Health Commission, Zhou Xiaozhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Wang Ruyi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, attended the ceremony. More than 100 Western doctors from medical and health institutions across the city attended the ceremony, and the opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Bin.
Wang Ruyi warmly welcomed the students who participated in the "Western Learning and Chinese" talent training, briefly introduced the hospital's situation, and said that the hospital will do a good job in logistics and service according to the requirements to ensure that the training work is carried out in a solid and orderly manner. Wang Jianyun said that the holding of this training class is an important way to implement the national strategic plan for the development of traditional Chinese medicine, promote the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and strengthen the cultivation of talents in combination with traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The training cycle of this project is two years, including one and a half years of theoretical study and six months of clinical practice. The learning content covers basic theoretical knowledge and basic skills of traditional Chinese medicine, and adopts a combination of face-to-face teaching, online training and self-study. Those who pass the training qualification can be identified as traditional Chinese medicine personnel and can participate in the same level of practicing Chinese and Western medicine practitioner examination as required. The Western Learning and Chinese Talent Training Class will train a group of Chinese and Western medicine talents with two medical models, Chinese and Western medicine, and can correctly use Chinese and Western medicine to prevent and treat diseases, and promote the sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine in Loudi.
