On July 18, the Yongzhou Municipal Committee Office, Hunan University of Science and Technology and the Lingling District Committee Office jointly organized the Yongtai Youth's "Reading Yongzhou" cultural tour event, and organized 16 teenagers from Taiwan from Baodao Taiwan to interact and pair with 14 teenagers in Yongzhou to carry out cultural exchanges. During the visit, 30 students listened to the story of a generation of "Martial Saint" Guan Yu , observed the ancient streets and alleys of Lingling Ancient City Scenic Area, and enhanced friendship and cultural identity.

"This time I came to Lingling and touched the cultural context of the ancient city. I not only felt the long history and culture of Lingling, but also experienced the exquisite and unique architectural art of the local area." Wang Zhicheng, a young Taiwanese who visited the Dongshan Scenic Area, said, "I hope we can come to the mainland in the future and experience the scenery of Lingling again."

At the School of Physical Education, Hunan University of Science and Technology, the students experienced a martial arts class and felt the unique charm of Chinese martial arts. Students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait also played the song-sending game, "Mainland students like to listen to pop music and love to watch TV shows, and we have many common topics." Chen Zhenjie, a student at Keelung City Nuannuan High School, said that the mainland has a huge market, and he may go to the mainland to develop his own music career in the future if he has the opportunity.

Zhou Shenglai, deputy secretary-general of Yongzhou Municipal Party Committee and director of the Taiwan Affairs Office, said that this Yongtai cultural exchange activity once again wrote a vivid footnote for "one family on both sides of the Taiwan Strait".
