According to statistics from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Nantou County's average annual tourism output value is about NT$22 billion. Due to the impact of the epidemic in the first half of this year, nearly 10 billion yuan of output value was lost.
Lin Zhiying said that fortunately, the control of the epidemic in Taiwan slowed down in the second half of the year, and the outbreak of domestic tourism gave the tourism industry a breathing space. He estimated that this wave of tourism boom in Taiwan is expected to continue until at least the first half of next year.
