National Defense Class 2 first semester 2022-2023 academic year calendar
This semester, the school arranged for me to serve as the head teacher of National Defense Class 2. After military training and one month of observation and understanding, I have now gained a certain understanding of the situation of National Defense Class 2. Now I will report the students' situation and the work goals of this semester class as follows:
1. Student situation analysis:
Our class is one of the eight national defense education classes in our school. There are now 51 students, all boys, from all counties, towns and villages around our city. There are 6 people who currently live in Dongchangfu District , 13 people in Shen County, 39 people in Dong'a html, 315 people in Guan County, 34 people in Linqing html, 33 people in Chiping html, and 31 people in Yanggu html. Among all 51 people, there were 7 people with high school entrance examination scores above 300 points, and the rest were below 300 points. There were three people who were recruited directly to our school before they graduated from junior high school. Judging from the situation we have learned now, the families of students in my class are generally in average, and there are seven students with particularly difficult life. Due to different family situations, for example: XX's father passed away, and his mother had a daughter after remarriage. He got along very poorly with his adoptive father. After his mother sent him to school, he only gave him living expenses. The student asked to drop out of school many times and tried his best to keep him. XX's mother passed away and his father worked outside. The student was withdrawn and had ADHD. He had taken medicine since childhood, but he had not improved. Last time, he fainted in 7 minutes in military posture and was sent to the hospital for medical treatment; there were also many parents working outside and their children lived with their grandparents, which led to many children lacking family warmth or good family education . The above reasons lead to poor habits in all aspects, poor time concepts, poor discipline concepts, poor behavioral norms, lack of labor hygiene habits, and lack of conscious learning. They are restless all day long and cannot even sleep at night. After understanding the situation. In combination with the requirements of the school’s opening work, students are organized to carefully study the “day routines of middle school students” and “standardize student dormitory management”. In accordance with the requirements of militarization, standardize students' internal affairs and strengthen education on behavioral norms such as discipline, respect teachers, unite classmates, and take care of the weak. These should be the focus of class discipline work this semester.
The students in my class are not lacking in spoiled in their families. They are almost all kinds of labor done by their parents. Their parents care about them very much and spoiled them very much. Most students have no view on labor and are reluctant to participate in labor. Even if they participate in labor, they will not be able to do things, or they are perfunctory and lack responsibility. Therefore, in management work, we must strengthen guidance and teach step by step. And help students strengthen their sense of responsibility. It is required to ensure that hygiene is satisfactory and cultivate students' spirit of collective responsibility.
In terms of learning, most students do not have good learning habits. According to the teacher's report and my daily observation, the classroom atmosphere is more dull, and there are many bad things such as sleeping in class and talking to each other. Therefore, the focus of my class's study this semester should be to enable students to develop serious and rigorous study habits so that they will not lose their fighting spirit due to temporary setbacks. In addition, some students in our class have very low admission scores, which leads to lack of interest and confidence in learning. These phenomena must be solved or compensated this semester.
2. Preliminary idea of class management:
The first work of the class teacher is to ensure that all members of the class are in office and not lose them. Therefore, the first slogan I put forward for the class this semester is: "Don't abandon, don't give up" . Focusing on the management and psychological counseling of some problematic students, cheering and helping them build confidence, I conducted a survey and Q&A on the ideals of each student in this class to come to school (mainly divided into three categories: joining the army, taking the school exam, and taking the military academy exam) and made future struggle plans for them, with dreams + planning + looking at struggle = certain success. At the same time, I promise that as long as you have confidence in yourself and face any difficulties together, Class 2 will not give up on anyone with dreams.
Three years of high school, the final result of students depends largely on the development of habits in the first year of high school. To cultivate habits, we must first start with small things.For example, every day when you leave the classroom, the class requires students to clean the tables and put the chairs on the table, keeping them horizontally and vertically; do not litter or eat snacks in the classroom; the cleaning area should be cleaned clean without leaving any blind spots; the homework should be completed without any sloppy, and do everything if you find it; be polite when you meet the teacher, etc. In short, students are strictly required to do everything in accordance with the school's regulations, and inspect and supervise them at any time.
In the next three months, I will follow this class and criticize and rectify any mistakes at any time. There is only one goal, and we strive to enable all students in our class to develop good study and living habits during the first year of high school. This is the fundamental guarantee for realizing our dreams.
Furthermore, as a student, the most important task is to learn. I have mentioned in the class more than once: Don’t care how low your starting point is now, the key is whether your future progress is fast or not. For first-year high school students, the key is to form effective learning methods that are suitable for themselves. Therefore, another slogan I put forward to the whole class this semester is: make a little progress every day. I ask each student to prepare three books, record one sentence every day, one question every day, and one word every day. Simply put, it is to record one sentence in the notebook every day that has the greatest impact on themselves, the most important question, the word that needs to be remembered the most, and remember it firmly, make progress every day, and accumulate over time. In addition, I also require students to lay a solid foundation in Chinese, mathematics and English in the first year of high school, which is the key to the success or failure of going to school.
Establishing a united and efficient class leader collective is an important part of class management. After a period of understanding and investigation, and adopting the method of democracy first and then centralization, I have successfully formed the class committee and Youth League branch and started operations. The overall situation seems to be OK. The main task in the future is to gradually cultivate the independent management ability of class cadres, especially the work style that is not favorable to personal feelings and serious. As a class teacher, I must not only strictly demand the class cadres, but also strive to establish the prestige of the main class cadres, teach them to do it without taking their place, and strive to cultivate them into the right-hand side of the class teacher as soon as possible, so that they can truly play the role of the class soul.
There is another very arduous task in the class work this semester: it is how to make students with a score below 300 in the middle school entrance examination adapt to the teaching requirements of our school as soon as possible, integrate into the class as soon as possible and improve their grades. This work is planned to be carried out in two steps. First of all, we must eliminate their inferiority complex psychologically. I clearly warn every student in the class that the admission scores do not mean anything. When I come to the transfer school, everyone starts from scratch. The school and teachers treat everyone equally. The purpose of this is to make them put down their ideological burdens so that they can go into battle lightly. Secondly, in view of the current situation of several of this group of people who are "double poor students", we will talk to them separately, care about them ideologically, encourage them from learning, and guide them from actions, especially strictly require them from discipline to "force" them to develop good habits, so that their academic performance can be caught up. For these students, special attention should be paid to communicating with their parents frequently, studying appropriate educational methods, and pursuing the educational effect of "home-school integration".
In just over a month since military training, as the head teacher, I have deeply felt the double ardent hope (also pressure) from parents and the school. This hope (or pressure) will spur me to work hard to do my best to do the work of this class.
3. The specific work measures are as follows:
1. School discipline and regulations education for freshmen, especially health and discipline education.
(1) During the military training, introduce the school’s various school rules and regulations to students, educate them to strictly abide by school rules and regulations, change the bad habits left by junior high schools, and gradually adapt to the new environment of the school.
(2) Use class meetings, self-study classes, and during class meetings, students will provide a comprehensive education on learning and education on the class collective's sense of honor.
(3) Develop a weekly comprehensive quality assessment system for class students, improve the daily routine of the class, and vigorously implement the dormitory interior and hygiene duty system, so that every student knows that class work is what everyone should do.
(4) Find conversations with individual students with poor performance during military training to improve their self-control.
(5) Check for adverse phenomena in the class, such as bringing mobile phones, long hair, long nails, smoking, etc., and require correction in a short period of time.
2. Improve the construction of the class and youth league cadres and make a new breakthrough in class work.
(1) This semester focuses on the training and guidance of the class cadres team. Temporarily designate several students with good grades, good performance in their daily lives or have served as class Youth League cadres in the past to take corresponding positions. After a period of observation and assessment, class Youth League cadres will be formally identified.
(2) Improve the class cadres assessment system. The class monitor is responsible for the daily work this semester, and the class monitor will conduct regular assessments and scores of cadres, and promptly find out the shortcomings of several cadres to help improve, and at the same time, they can establish their own prestige among their classmates.
(3) implements a cadre report system, requiring every cadre, especially the squad leader, deputy squad leader, league secretary, discipline and other major cadres to frequently go to the class teacher's office to communicate and report work, so that they can gradually become the right-hand assistants of the class teacher.
3. Establish a weekly assessment system and class log for students to facilitate better work for class teachers
(1) In addition to recording the class teacher work manual, the Youth League Secretary is responsible for filling out the weekly assessment form and class log, and publish it in a timely manner so that the class teacher and the whole class can timely understand the situation of the class for a week, so that every student can clearly know every little thing on his growth path.

5. Parent work:

⑷. Guide parents to care more about their children's learning and mental health, and promptly feedback on students' learning habits to seek two-way understanding.
6, Mental Health Education :
⑴. Establish a class psychological file, targeted 2-3 people.
⑵. Correctly guide students’ psychology, deal with possible problems among students, and have a deep conversation with students.
⑶. The teacher himself should be properly exposed to books related to psychological counseling and take notes.
7. Teachers’ self-requirement:
