Luban : The story of "Future" takes place in the 23rd to 24th centuries, not far away. It was inspired by the movie " Superbody " directed by Luc Besson, which I love very much. Unexpectedly, I had this story in my mind. I spent a long time convincing myself to classify "Future" as a science fiction novel, because there is neither the galaxy universe nor the spaceship aliens in this novel, and there is no real science and technology to take , the theme is very old-fashioned, it is more like the more serious version of the existing social problems. In the current perspective, these existences that seem "injustice" may be unbearable diseases in the future world and "cancer" of human beings. From this perspective, the future symptoms may be very "science fiction".

Lu Ban: First of all, of course I am happy. "Best Newcomer" is the recognition of me by the judges and readers, and it also made me think that "I seem to really try to be a writer" for the first time. Lu Pan: The first part of "Future Disease" was completed in early 2018. I cast this part to the science fiction world, and a month later they decided to publish my novel. So, in nearly 2 years, I completed the second and third parts of it and finally published in 2020. The third story of "Future Disease" was overturned and rewritten. To be honest, there was also the idea of "either give up the third story, the first two are enough, or not write it, maybe I am not the material." I complained to my friend, and he only replied one sentence at that time: "But isn't this what you want to do?" At that time, the words shocked me in the late night when there was no one around. Lu Ban: Regarding the appearance of luxury goods, I need to first mention a problem in my writing. I have the harshness of "must see" on details. Maybe because I love watching movies, I am a writer from a very audience perspective. My writing process seems more like I am watching a movie, and I record everything in the movie into words. For example, because of the plot, the characters in my novel need to wear gold and silver to play the stunning noble lady, which inevitably leads to some luxury goods. All the clothing and accessories specifically described in the novel are completely reliable and real. I hope that when readers see these words, they can see a complete and specific person like me, just like a movie, with all the details in their eyes. Writing about luxury goods is actually a very failed attempt, and now it seems that it is obviously a bit too hard. I do like to read the works of certain Japanese writers. Mishima Yukio 's " Kinkakuji " is my favorite book at the moment. It teaches me how to view and describe beauty and destruction. Some readers will think that my text has the color of Japanese literature , and I will agree with it.

Lu Pan: I am a very boring person. In my spare time, except for cat petting, fitness and watching dramas/movies, I only write. Writing is a kind of relaxation for me, so this skill can be activated at any time. Sometimes on the subway, I may take out the notes on my mobile phone to write a few paragraphs. There is also a "luban-particle" that records some gossip in my Weibo . Moreover, I have not downloaded Douyin and Kuaishou so far. Maybe I prefer systematic knowledge. The information that can only last for 15 seconds is a bit too short for me.
