In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the "Organization Law of the People's Courts of the People's Republic of China" and the "Organization Law of the People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China", on January 7, Ouyang Cheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Procurator General of the Yunxi District People's Procuratorate, was invited to attend the meeting of the District People's Court Judicial Committee. Xu Hui, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the District People's Court, presided over the meeting. At the meeting, Prosecutor Ouyang Cheng carefully listened to the presiding judge's report on the facts of the case, trial situation, evidence acceptance, dispute focus, and the collegial panel's proposed handling opinions, and after he issued the prosecutor's opinion in light of the case.
Procurator General's attendance at the court trial committee is an important way for the procuratorate to perform its legal supervision duties, and is also an important measure to implement the "Organization Law of the People's Courts of the People's Republic of China" and the "Organization Law of the People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China", strengthen trial supervision, optimize trial quality, and maintain judicial fairness and justice. In the next step, the district procuratorate will continue to implement the system of the procurator general attending the trial committee on a regular basis, build consensus between procuratorial and judicial departments, build a win-win mechanism, continuously improve the standardization level of judicial case handling, and strive to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case.
