On August 26, the 2022 "Taihu Jazz Music Festival" of the National Grand Theater officially kicked off at the Taihu Open Amphitheater. The Blue Note China Jazz Band is the first to appear on stage under the leadership of composer and trombone performer Yang Ming. The opening work "Band Starts" is played, and the colors of the golden age of jazz music in the last century come to the face.
The big band is the most representative form of jazz. It has been performed so far since its birth in the 1920s. The big band is usually composed of 10 to 20 musicians and singers, with rich instruments, comprehensive voice settings, and brilliant timbre changes.
